  • Publication number: 20200327618
Abstract: According to some embodiments, data is received indicative of a plurality of insurance claims. It may then be automatically determined that a first insurance claim is associated with a first type of insurance and that a second insurance claim is associated with a second type of insurance. The received data associated with the first insurance claim may be analyzed in accordance with first segmentation logic to determine a first segment classification appropriate for the first insurance claim. Similarly, the received data associated with the second insurance claim may be automatically analyzed in accordance with second segmentation logic to determine a second segment classification appropriate for the second insurance claim. Indications of the first and second segment classifications may then be transmitted (e.g., to a load balancing and assignment engine that automatically selects claim handlers for insurance claims).

  • Publication number: 20200273115
Abstract: According to some embodiments, data may be received indicative of a plurality of insurance claims. A risk transfer opportunity platform processor may, based on the received data, identify an insurance claim as being associated with a potential risk transfer opportunity. For the identified insurance claim, the risk transfer opportunity platform processor may automatically arrange for a potential risk transfer user interface to be displayed to a claim handler and may receive, via the potential risk transfer user interface, recovery details from the claim handler, including an overall total damage value and a high and low risk transfer value. A summary report may then be automatically generated for a plurality of insurance claims based in part on the recovery details received from the claim handler, and an indication of the summary report may be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20200202267
Abstract: A system to provide an automated risk relationship resource allocation tool via back-end application computer server of an enterprise. A resource allocation data store may contain electronic records representing requested resource allocations between the enterprise and a plurality of entities. The server may receive an indication of a selected requested resource allocation and retrieve, from the resource allocation data store, the electronic record associated with the selected requested resource allocation. The server may execute a machine learning algorithm to generate an overall score for the selected requested resource allocation and generate a request health index via an analytic model for the entity associated with the selected requested resource allocation. The system may then support a graphical interactive user interface display via a distributed communication network, the interactive user interface display providing resource allocation data including the overall score and the request health index.

  • Publication number: 20190188802
Abstract: According to some embodiments, data may be received indicative of a plurality of insurance claims along with an indication of an appropriate claim segment classification for each insurance claim. A first claim handler may then be automatically selected for a first insurance claim based at least in part on: (i) a first segment classification associated with the first insurance claim, (ii) numbers of other insurance claims currently assigned to claim handlers, and (iii) load factors associated with claim handlers. An indication of the selected first claim handler may then be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20160125544
Abstract: According to some embodiments, data may be received indicative of a plurality of insurance claims along with an indication of location for each insurance claim. A first workers' compensation benefit rule may then be determined for a first workers' compensation insurance claim associated with a first location. Similarly, a second workers' compensation benefit rule (different from the first workers' compensation benefit rule) may be determined for a second workers' compensation insurance claim associated with a second location. A first benefit amount and a second benefit amount may then be automatically calculated for the workers' compensation insurance claims based on the rules and application of appropriate waiting period and retroactive period rules. Reconciliation values may be automatically displayed, and indications of the first and second benefit amounts may be transmitted.

  • Publication number: 20160110818
Abstract: According to some embodiments, data is received indicative of a plurality of insurance claims. It may then be automatically determined that a first insurance claim is associated with a first type of insurance and that a second insurance claim is associated with a second type of insurance different from the first type of insurance. The received data associated with the first insurance claim may be analyzed, in accordance with first fraud detection logic, to determine a first questionable loss status appropriate for the first insurance claim. Similarly, the received data associated with the second insurance claim may be analyzed, in accordance with second fraud detection logic different from the first fraud detection logic, to determine a second questionable loss status appropriate for the second insurance claim. Indications of the first and second questionable loss statuses may then be transmitted (e.g., to a claim handler or a special investigation unit platform).
