  • Patent number: 10039425
Abstract: Wipes dispensers for dispensing interconnected wipes. An exemplary wipes dispenser may include a container body and a removable lid forming an interior region into which a plurality of interconnected wipes may be disposed. Pulling on a lead end of a lead wipe causes a following wipe to also be pulled and follow the lead wipe. The removable lid may cover at least a portion of the container aperture. A landing member in the lid covers at least a portion of the container aperture by extending from a top rim of the container body toward the middle of the interior region. A gripping channel may be provided through the landing member, through which the lead end of the lead wipe may be threaded. The landing member may include a concavely shaped portion. The landing member may include a thickened portion, e.g., surrounding the gripping channel.

Pulling on a lead end of a lead wipe causes a following wipe to also be pulled and follow the lead wipe. The removable lid may cover a portion of a container aperture (e.g., an open top of the container body). A landing member in the lid covers a portion of the container aperture by extending from a top rim of the container body toward the middle of the interior region. The landing member may form an angle with a substantially vertical exterior wall of the container, where the formed angle may be less than 90°. In an embodiment, the landing member may include a concavely shaped portion. The landing member may include one or more fingers.

  • Publication number: 20170369213
Abstract: In one example, a lid configured for use with a container includes an upper surface that is generally circular in shape, and further includes a side wall with an annular configuration, the side wall intersecting the upper surface to define an edge of the lid. A grip element is defined in the upper surface and sized and configured to be grasped by one or more fingers of a user, and the grip element includes a grip portion that is set back a distance from the edge of the lid. Finally, a tab is provided that is attached to the side wall of the lid by an elastically deformable standoff element.

  • Patent number: 9546027
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a closure containing a top deck, an inner skirt and an outer skirt. The inner skirt engages the neck of a bottle via a snap fitting. The closure contains regions of weakness such that once the inner skirt engages the neck of the bottle and the regions of weakness are broken, the closure cannot be removed from the bottle neck without disabling the snap engagement between the closure and neck, thus preventing refilling and reuse of the bottle.

  • Publication number: 20160235272
Abstract: An all-in-one cleaning device, e.g., such as may be used in cleaning the inside of a shower. The device may provide the ability to dispense a cleaning composition carried within the device itself. The device may include a container housing including an internal reservoir for holding a cleaning composition, and a wall defining a scrubbing side of the container housing. The wall may include a dispensing orifice through which the cleaning composition is dispensed. A hook may be provided extending from the container housing, which is engageable with a substrate (e.g., a scrubbing pad) positioned over the wall defining the scrubbing side of the container housing. An end of the substrate may be held in place over the wall by the hook. Another end of the substrate may be held in place by a hook and loop attachment structure.

  • Publication number: 20160220088
Abstract: An all-in-one cleaning device, e.g., such as may be used in cleaning the inside of a shower. The device may provide the ability to dispense a cleaning composition carried within the device itself, and scrub the cleaning composition onto or into the surfaces to be cleaned (e.g., shower walls, floors, corners, mirrors, etc.). The device may include a squeezable container housing holding the cleaning composition in a reservoir defined therein, with a dispensing valve configured to dispense the cleaning composition from the reservoir, through the valve when a user squeezes the container housing. A sled may be provided, e.g., snap-fit to a bottom wall of the container housing, with a substrate configured as a scrubbing pad attached to the bottom of the sled.

  • Publication number: 20160096204
Abstract: An all-in-one cleaning device, e.g., such as may be used in cleaning the inside of a shower. The device may provide the ability to dispense the composition carried within the device itself, and scrub the composition into or against the surfaces to be cleaned (e.g., shower walls, floors, corners, etc.). Activation of the dispensing mechanism of the cleaning device may dispense a metered dose of composition, in a generally horizontal direction, onto and/or into a nonwoven or other substrate. The dispensing mechanism may not rely on gravity for dispensing, and may be sealed to prevent unwanted backflow of shower water or other material, preventing contamination.

  • Patent number: 8777030
Abstract: In various embodiments, a non-reusable closure may include a base attachable to a container. The closure base contains an engagement insert that can screw onto a container neck. The base and engagement insert together contain one or more regions of weakness which break and/or deform when the closure is removed from the container thereby preventing re-attachment of the closure to the container.

  • Publication number: 20130119062
Abstract: In various embodiments, a closure may include a base attachable to a container. The closure may further include an engagement insert receivable in the base. The engagement insert may include screw thread formations for engaging corresponding formations on a container neck. The base and insert may together form a co-operating uni-directional rotation arrangement which prevents rotation in a direction of screwing onto a container neck but allows relative rotation in a direction of unscrewing, whereby to prevent unscrewing of the closure. In various embodiments, a closure for a container may include a top deck, an outer skirt and an inner skirt. The inner skirt may be engagable with a container neck. The inner skirt and/or top deck may comprise one or more regions of weakness arranged to break and/or deform if an attempt is made to remove the closure from a neck following first application, whereby to prevent re-application.
