  • Publication number: 20160204668
Abstract: A machine includes a rotor and a stator disposed about an axis. The stator includes a ring disposed about the axis. A plurality of poles each extend radially from the ring and support a coil of a wire. Moldings insulate at least a portion of the plurality of poles from the wire. The moldings include a radially outer portion, a radially inner portion, a connector portion integral with the radially outer portion and the radially inner portion, and a tab on one of the radially outer portion and the radially inner portion. The wire is wrapped behind the tab between adjacent poles. A method of insulating and securing wire for coils formed on adjacent poles is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 5090142
Abstract: An attachment arranged for mounting to an associated lawnmower in an operative relationship to include a snowblower housing operative through a plurality of inter-related belts and pulleys to effect rotation of a plurality of impeller blades mounted within the snowblower housing. A drive pulley is mounted to a lower terminal end of the lawnmower motor output shaft to operatively effect the aforenoted rotation of the impeller structure. A modification of the invention includes a granular hopper in operative association with an exit opening and conduit of the lawnmower apparatus to effect projection of the granular material in association with the exiting snow.

  • Patent number: 4846112
Abstract: An ullage compensator is disclosed for a stored chemical energy power propulsion system. With the invention, at least one movable wall (16) is provided within a reactor having a chamber (10) which is movable between a first position at which the chamber has a maximum reaction volume to a second position at which the reaction chamber has a minimum volume. A force is applied to the movable wall by a bellows to cause the wall to project into the chamber in response to the force when a reaction is occurring within the chamber. The invention eliminates damage to the interior surface of the chamber and the inlet port(s) for introducing an oxidant into the chamber which sustains the reaction caused by direct contact with a gaseous oxidant which causes the reaction.
