  • Publication number: 20250004222
Abstract: A rotatable circular waveguide structure is described that may comprise circular waveguide sections configured to propagate electromagnetic radiation. The circular waveguide sections may enable data signals to be transmitted between portions of an electronic device, such as a chassis and display portion, which may be rotatable with respect to one another. The rotatable circular waveguide structure may comprise one or more circular waveguide sections that are routed through a hinge of the electronic device, as well as one or more rotatable junctions. The rotatable junctions enable a rotation of circular waveguide sections with respect to one another as the coupled portions of the electronic device are also rotated. The rotatable circular waveguide structure may replace the use of data cables that are conventionally used to carry data signals between portions of an electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20230016486
Abstract: Electrically conductive compressible gaskets can be employed to ground a heat solution and provide electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. A plurality of gaskets may be arranged around the perimeter of an integrated circuit package such as a processor or system on a chip. Each of the gaskets is in contact with a ground plane in the package, and upon contact with a heat sink or cold plate, creates an electrical path that grounds the heat sink or cold plate and thereby minimizes the emission of spurious radio signals. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.

  • Publication number: 20160179140
Abstract: This disclosure pertains to wireless-power transfer systems, and in particular (but not exclusively), to techniques to improve the coupling efficiency between a power transmitting unit and a power receiving unit within a computing system. The present disclosure includes a system which comprises a computing unit and a power transmitting unit adjacent thereto. The computing unit includes a system base, a conductive surface, and a power receiving unit. The conductive surface may have an opening that is adjacent to the power receiving unit and a slot extending from the opening towards the perimeter of the conductive surface. The system base may be coupled to the power receiving unit. The power receiving unit provides power to the system base.

  • Publication number: 20070273361
Abstract: An input by-pass circuit for a current probe has first and second switches coupled between current probe inputs and current sensing circuit inputs. A switch control is coupled to the switching circuit for selectively coupling and decoupling the current probe inputs to the current sensing circuit such that the current signal continuously flows in the device under test.

  • Publication number: 20070257657
Abstract: A current probing system has a current probe and a detachable adapter. The current probe has a probe body with electrically conductive contacts that mate with electrically conductive contacts on the adapter. Leads extend from the adapter for coupling to a current carrying conductor. The leads can connect to a plug that is coupled to a current diverting device for coupling a current signal to the current probe. The adapter may also include a switch that selectively couples the current signal to the current probe when the adapter is mated with the current probe. The contacts of the current probe are coupled to a current sensing circuit which generates a voltage output representative of the current signal. The voltage output is coupled to an oscilloscope via an electrical cable.

  • Publication number: 20050072265
Abstract: The pedal assembly includes a pedal and a rod is movably extended through a passage defined longitudinally through the pedal. A side part is connected to one side of the peal and includes two chambers defined therein. The two chambers define two openings communicating with the passage and two a hole through an outside wall of the side part. The rod has a plurality of notches defined in one side thereof and the notches are in communication with each other. Two pins respectively and movably extend through the two holes, the two chambers and the two openings and are engaged with the notches to position the pedal relative to the rod.
