    Abstract: The invention applies to a vehicle for towing and shunting aircraft, which can raise and lift an aircraft undercarriage, and which has at least one wheel or caterpillar track on either side of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The wheels or caterpillar tracks on one side are driven independently of those on the other side. The vehicle can be steered by using different rpm for the wheels or caterpillar tracks.
