  • Publication number: 20250018178
Abstract: A medical electrode device for implantation into a patient comprises a carrier element formed from an electrically insulating material, a contact element arranged on the carrier element and comprising a contact portion for coupling to tissue in an implanted state of the medical electrode device, and an electrical supply line connected to the contact element. The contact element comprises first and second fastening sections, the first and second fastening sections arranged at a distance with respect to each other along a length direction, and the electrical supply line connected to the contact element at the first fastening section and the second fastening section such that the electrical supply line is arranged at a distance with respect to the contact portion along a height direction oriented perpendicularly to the length direction. A portion of the carrier element extends through a space in between the contact portion and the electrical supply line.

  • Publication number: 20240371546
Abstract: In a method for fabricating a medical electrode device for implantation into a patient a sleeve element having an inner lumen is provided, and an electrical supply line is inserted into the lumen of the sleeve element. The sleeve element is deformed to obtain a contact element for the medical electrode device, a portion of the sleeve element forming a contact face of the contact element for electrically contacting tissue, wherein as a result of deforming the sleeve element a crimp connection between the contact element and the electrical supply line is established.

  • Patent number: 11058872
Abstract: Implantable lead having an electrode body with a free end and an inner part axially movable or rotatably movable with respect to it and an end on which means of fixation are extendable out of the free end by axially displacing the inner part, the inner periphery of the electrode body having an elastically deformable, peripheral, ring or ring segment-shaped, sealing/resistance element fixed to it. The outer periphery of the inner part having a section whose diameter changes (decreases) in the axial direction; this section passes the sealing/resistance element when the inner part is axially displaced. The inner periphery of the electrode body having a section whose diameter changes (decreases) in the axial direction; this section placed so that the sealing/resistance element passes this section when the inner part is axially displaced, the sealing/resistance element increasingly deformed during axial displacement of the inner part and counteracting movement thereof.

  • Patent number: 7751905
Abstract: An active fixation cardiac electrode lead having a fixation helix movably placed in a housing at the electrode lead's distal end so as to be extended out of the housing's distal end and retraced into an inner space enclosed by the housing. The housing has a wall and a protrusion formed in the wall that protrudes into the inner space into interspaces between windings of the fixation helix. The protrusion causes an axial movement of the helix when the helix is rotated around its longitudinal axis. The protrusion is an integral part of the housing's wall which is bent or embossed to form the protrusion.
