  • Publication number: 20240047931
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of laser technology, and methods and devices intended for homogenizing the temperature of a laser base plate, where optical component holders are attached to the laser base plate comprising a heat transfer medium. In order to reduce susceptibility of the laser base plate to local temperature differences, ensuring stable positions of the optical components and, consequently, the orientation of the optical paths, the material from which the laser base plate and optical component holders are made is stainless steel. Heat pipes are built into the laser base plate and have a significantly higher thermal conductivity than stainless steel, and their coefficient of thermal expansion is close to the coefficient of thermal expansion of stainless steel. The holders of the optical components are attached and adjusted with respect to each other to said laser base plate by laser spot welding.

  • Publication number: 20230148703
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of the footwear industry, namely footwear (5) with a sole (6) of variable dimensions. The proposed method of dimensional change of the footwear sole (6) and the footwear (5) include a sole (6) of variable dimensions, the height of which may increase or decrease or return to the initial position, depending on the position of the sole (6) in contact with the supporting surface. The method of changing the height of the sole (6) of the footwear (5) proposed according to the invention facilitates climbing uphill, stairs, downhill, cycling by creating an effect of upward acting escalator without jerking or an effect of downward acting escalator without jerking, respectively.

  • Patent number: 11079545
Abstract: An electromagnetic radiation beam is inputted into a ring interferometer rotating at the angular velocity ? where the beam is split into two equally intensive counter—propagating electromagnetic beams. The Sagnac Effect results in the phase shift of ±Pi/2 radians, which may be either positive or negative depending on the direction in which the counter-propagating electromagnetic radiation beams propagate with regard to the rotation direction of the ring interferometer. An additionally phase shift of Pi/2 radians is induced between the counter-propagating electromagnetic radiation beams inside the ring interferometer results in a total phase shift of either Pi radians or 0. The counter-propagating electromagnetic radiation beams inside the ring interferometer are then combined into one single electromagnetic radiation (EMR) beam which outputted from the rotating ring interferometer by using a different path than the one through which the EMR beam is inputted into it.
