  • Publication number: 20070040771
Abstract: A shift register circuit that improves yield, reduces cost, and embodies a pull-swing drive and low power consumption is disclosed. The shift register is a 4-phase shift register circuit comprising a plurality of PMOS transistors, and capacitors. The shift register circuit includes n (n is integer) register stages, and each register stage is connected to a start pulse input line or an output voltage line of a previous register stage, and is connected to three of four clock signal supply lines. Each of the n register stages comprises circuitry ensuring that the output stage of each register stage drives the output to either of first and second power supplies, but not both.

  • Publication number: 20060289868
Abstract: A flat panel display for preventing a thin film transistor from deteriorating due to voltage, static electricity, and external force, accidentally applied to a substrate, and a method for driving the same. The flat panel display includes a conductive substrate, at least one insulating layer formed on the conductive substrate, at least one thin film transistor formed on the conductive substrate, and a ground formed in a region of the conductive substrate to ground the conductive substrate. Thus, the deterioration of the thin film transistor that would be generated by voltage, static electricity, or external force, accidentally applied to the conductive substrate can be substantially prevented and the performance of the display is enhanced.

  • Publication number: 20060028408
Abstract: A light emitting display having a pixel circuit for compensating driving voltage variation between pixels due to voltage drop in the voltage supply line. The light emitting display includes pixels, data lines extending in a first direction, through which a data signal is supplied to the pixels, scan lines extending in a second direction crossing the first direction, through which a selection signal is supplied to the pixels, a first power source line supplying driving voltage to the pixels, and a second power source line along the first direction supplying a compensating voltage to the pixels. The compensating voltage compensates for the drop of driving voltage across pixels that can cause non-uniformity in brightness of the display.
