    Abstract: A transceiver apparatus in a code division multiple access system is disclosed. The apparatus includes a low noise amplifier for amplifying a signal received via an antenna, a first filter for extracting components of a usable band from the amplified signal, and a voltage controlled amplifier for amplifying the filtered. A down mixer converts the amplified signal to an intermediate frequency, a second filter eliminates unnecessary waves generated during the conversion operation of the down mixer, and an automatic gain controlled amplifier amplifies the signal filtered by the second filter.
