Abstract: There is disclosed a system and method for dynamic frequency capping with escalating offers. The method includes accessing a user identification system to uniquely identify a user and an offer database to identify an offer campaign to be presented to the user. The method then includes determining that the number of times that a first offer has been presented to the user has exceeded a threshold associated with the first offer or that the user has declined a first offer, accessing the offer database to identify an alternative offer to be presented to the user and presenting the alternative offer to the user. The alternative offer may represent enhanced value over the first offer. A counter is incremented in the offer database associated with a number of views of the alternative offer by the user.

Abstract: There is disclosed a method for user-based segmentation and selection of offers. The method includes aggregating user activity data based upon online activity of a user and generating user segment data in response to a web page request by the user and a segmentation request incorporating a plurality of user queries based upon the user activity data. The method then includes providing the user segment data to an offer server in response to a segment request from the offer server.
