  • Publication number: 20240038339
Abstract: A method and system for analyzing sex-chromosome aneuploidies of an individual are provided. In one embodiment, a method comprises training a neural network model based on predetermined information related to at least one sex chromosome. The method also comprises determining a respective sex-chromosome status based on a normalized read depth for a gene in a genome of the individual using a machine learning algorithm. The machine learning algorithm is configured to receive, as inputs, the normalized read depth, and output the respective sex-chromosome status of the individual. In another embodiment, a system I is provided including a neural network model trained based on predetermined information related to at least one sex chromosome and is adapted to determine a respective sex-chromosome status based on a normalized read depth for a gene in a genome of the individual using a machine learning algorithm.

  • Publication number: 20220171991
Abstract: Views may be generated for bias metrics or feature attribution captured in machine learning pipelines. A request to create a view of bias metrics or feature attribution may be received. The bias metrics or feature attribution may have been determined in a machine learning pipeline as part of executing a training job that specified the bias metrics or the feature attribution. A development application may access a data store that stores the bias metrics or the feature attribution determined in the machine learning pipeline. A view based on the bias metrics or feature attribution may be generated and provided.

  • Publication number: 20220172099
Abstract: Bias metrics may be captured at different stages for training a machine learning model. A training job may specify bias metrics to capture at multiple different stages of a machine learning pipeline for a feature of a training data set used to train a machine learning model. The training job may be executed and the bias metrics determined at the stages as specified in the training job. The bias metrics for the different stages may be stored.

  • Publication number: 20220172004
Abstract: Bias metrics and feature attribution may be monitored for a machine learning model. A request to enable monitoring for bias metrics or feature attribution may be received. Monitoring may be enabled to evaluate respective performance of inferences of a machine learning model according to the enabled bias metrics or feature attribution. If a divergence from reference data is detected, then a notification indicating the divergence may be sent.

  • Publication number: 20220172101
Abstract: Feature attribution may be captured as part of a machine learning pipeline. A training job may include a request to determine feature attribution as part of a machine learning pipeline that trains a machine learning model from a training data set. A reference data set for determining the feature attribution of the machine learning model may be identified. The feature attribution may be determined based on the reference data set. The feature attribution of the trained machine learning model may be stored.

  • Publication number: 20220101943
Abstract: A system and method for determining a respective carrier status of an individual is provided. In one implementation, a method includes training a neural network model based on predetermined information related to at least one genetic variant and determining the respective carrier status based on a normalized read depth for the gene in a genome of the individual and allele dosage data for the gene using a machine learning algorithm. The method is configured to receive, as inputs, the normalized read depth and allele dosage data, and output the respective carrier status of the individual for the at least one genetic variant. In another implementation a system includes a recurrent neural network. The recurrent neural network includes a plurality of long short-term memory (LSTM) network cells linked sequentially in the recurrent neural network, a plurality of layers of long short-term memory (LSTM) network cells; and a fully connected sigmoid module.

  • Patent number: 9773045
Abstract: Search results may include both objective results and person results. In one example, a search query is evaluated to determine whether it is the type of query that a user might want to ask to a friend. If the query is of such a type, then the search engine may examine a social graph to determine which friends of the user who entered the query may have information that is relevant to answering the query. If such friends exist, then the friends may be displayed along with objective search results, along with an explanation of each friend's relevance to the query. Clicking on a person in the results may cause a conversation to be initiated with that person, thereby allowing the user who entered the query to ask his or her friend about the subject of the query.
