Patent number: 10247391Abstract: A stake for holding decorative lights has a stake portion having a pointed end and a head attached to the opposite end of the stake portion. The head has an open center and a top portion. A bulb gripper is pivotably attached to the inner surface of the top portion, such that the bulb gripper can be moved from a position which is co-linear with a centerline through the stake portion to a position which is substantially perpendicular to the centerline through the stake. The bulb gripper has a tab sized and positioned to engage another tab on the head when the bulb gripper is in a position which is substantially perpendicular to the stake portion locking the bulb gripper in place.Type: GrantFiled: October 20, 2017Date of Patent: April 2, 2019Assignee: Adams Mfg. Corp.Inventors: William E. Adams, IV, Kevin A. Harper

Publication number: 20190022472Abstract: A golf club head having a hosel, a hollow interior, and a support structure disposed within the hollow interior proximate a flange region is disclosed herein. In particular, the present invention is directed to a fairway wood head comprising a body with a front wall, an upper opening, a return portion between the front wall and the upper opening, a hosel, an interface between the hosel and the heel side of the body, and a hosel support ring or support rod, and a composite crown affixed to the body to close the upper opening and define a hollow interior. The support structure reduces the stresses placed on, for example, the crown during hosel bending processes.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 18, 2018Publication date: January 24, 2019Inventors: Justin Del Rosario, Romulus M. Tomimbang, Kevin Harper

Publication number: 20180369660Abstract: A golf club head includes a forward section and a body section to define a closed internal volume. The forward section has a strike face, a frame that surrounds the strike face, and a flange extending from the frame. The body section is formed from a molded polymeric material, and includes a forward edge that defines a receiving portion adapted to receive the flange and a weight receiving feature spaced apart from the forward edge. The body section further includes a reinforcing structure protruding into the internal volume and extending between the weight receiving feature and the forward edge. The reinforcing structure is operative to transfer impact loads between the weight receiving feature and the metallic forward section.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 5, 2018Publication date: December 27, 2018Inventors: Joshua Boggs, Eric Larson, Kevin Harper

Publication number: 20180187867Abstract: A bulb gripper for decorative light holder has a U-shaped body with projections on the interior surface that enable the bulb gripper to securely hold many different sizes of decorative light bulbs. The interior surface of each arm of the body has an inward tooth near the opening followed by several three spaced apart projections. The projections may have a tab portion which is connected to the arm by a narrower connector. The projections and the teeth on the arms form a ledge which supports the decorative light. When holding a C7, C9, C4, C5, C6, C12 or G28 decorative light this ledge should be in the gap that is formed by the top of the light socket and the portion of the light bulb adjacent the top of the light socket. A smaller U-shaped projection or several projections which are sized and configured to hold a mini-light can be provided at the base of the U-shaped body. The arms can flex outward so that the body can receive and securely hold the decorative light.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 28, 2017Publication date: July 5, 2018Inventors: William E. Adams, IV, Matthew Goodworth, Kevin A. Harper

Publication number: 20180071589Abstract: Golf club heads include white diffusing top surfaces to aid in club head alignment. Wood type club heads also include a dark diffusing club face so that a crown/face border is emphasized. Scorelines in wood type clubs can be provided with an intermediate contrast surface, and can be displaced from club face center to accommodate player perception when confronted with a white diffusing crown. Putter heads can include dark diffusing alignment lines, and iron-type club heads can include white diffusing surfaces at a sole portion of a club face, at a top line, or a top portion of a club face.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 22, 2017Publication date: March 15, 2018Applicant: Taylor Made Golf Company, Inc.Inventors: Todd P. Patent number: 9532654Abstract: A stackable molded plastic chair has a cup holder is connected to a cylindrical boss on the underside of a chair arm for movement between a retracted position lying underneath the chair arm and an open position extending away from the arm of the chair. The cup holder has a tubular boss having a first portion extending from the top surface of the cup holder and a second portion extending from the bottom surface of the cup holder. The first portion is at least partially within the cylindrical boss on the chair arm. A pin within the tubular boss has two or more spaced apart legs each leg having a foot. As the pin is inserted into the tubular boss the legs will move inward and then will move outward when the feet reach a recess on the inside surface of the cylindrical boss on the chair arm. The feet are each sized and configured to fit into the recess and the legs preferably have an outward curvature.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2016Date of Patent: January 3, 2017Assignee: Adams Mfg.
