  • Publication number: 20060036870
Abstract: A security application for granting different access rights to web pages and objects on each web page is disclosed. A data table assigns one or more function identifiers (FIDs) to users. A second data table assigns a different object identifier (OID) to each web page, and to assign a different OID for each object on each web page. A third data table assigns an FID to each OID. When a user attempts to access a web page or an object on the web page, a web server compares each of the user's FIDs to the FID assigned to the web page or object. The web server grants access to the web page or object if one of the user's FIDs matches the FID assigned to the web page or object, the user is granted access to the web page or object according to the function of the matched FID.

  • Publication number: 20050199656
Abstract: A collapsible garment hanger including a hook element attached to a fixed arm, a sliding arm with a longitudinally oriented slot, a crosspiece extending through the slot, attaching the sliding arm slidably to the fixed arm. When the distal end of the fixed arm tilts upward, gravity will cause the sliding arm to slide away from the distal end of the fixed arm. Whenever the distal end of the fixed arm tilts downward, gravity will cause the sliding arm to slide towards the distal end of the fixed arm. The collapsible garment hanger can also manually slide away from or towards the distal end of the fixed arm. An offset spacing between the outer tip of the sliding arm when it is in the collapsed position and the opposing offset portion of the hanger determines the size of neck of garment through which the hanger will fit.

  • Publication number: 20050147252
Abstract: The present invention provides systems and methods for facilitating encryption and decryption of data. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, an encryption key having a number of characters is located. A character in the encryption key is located to provide a located character in the encryption key. The number of characters in the data is determined. The position of the located character in the encryption key is shifted by a predetermined amount to determine a shifted position of the located character in the encryption key. Accordingly, the shifted position is located at a position in the encryption key that is the located character shifted by the predetermined amount. A first character in the data is translated with the character located at the shifted position to provide an encrypted character. The shifting and translating are repeated for any remaining characters in the data to provide encrypted data.

  • Patent number: 6688562
Abstract: The invention relates to a support for holding open a bag, in particular a plastic material rubbish bag. The support comprises a hoop and a plurality of clips spaced equidistantly around the hoop. The hoop defines an opening through which the open bag may be inserted with the opening of the bag being clipped to the clips. The hoop thereby supports the bag so that the bag hangs through the opening when the hoop is raised. The hoop has a circular cross-section, with each clip being spring-biased to conform to the hoop, so that the bag is pinched between the clip and the hoop. When the bag hangs from the support, the weight of the bag bears on each clip to pinch the bag tighter in each clip.

  • Patent number: 6540121
Abstract: A collapsible garment hanger including a hook, first and second supporting arms, at least one spring element, and in some versions, a base. The first and second supporting arms are each connected to the hanger by means of integrally molded hinges. Each spring element is hingedly attached to the hook or base at one terminal point and to the first or second supporting arm at the opposite terminal point. The first and second supporting arms can be collapsed with one hand by forcing supporting arms to pivot at their hinge point, thereby allowing for easy insertion into the neck of a garment. This collapsing of the arms causes each spring element to elastically stretch or compress depending on its orientation creating an upward force on the arms which returns them to their original extended position once the user lets go of the supporting arms.

  • Patent number: 6427882
Abstract: The present invention provides for a garment hanging apparatus. The apparatus enables users to hang small-necked garments from a hanger while minimizing stretch damage to the garment. A hook element 100 is provided for supporting the garment hanger from a conventional clothes rod. A base element 102 is interconnected with the hook element 100, and serves as an anchor for the hook element 100. The base element 102 provides a pivotal base for supporting a first pivoting arm 104, and a second pivoting arm 106 which are rotatably joined together at the supporting base 102 by a pin 108.
