The tag comprising a plurality of substantially identical two dimensional arrays of dots, each array being indicative of the number for improving tag detection; each arrays comprise a plurality of clusters, each cluster representing a predetermined symbol being indicative of a part of the number. An etching apparatus, for creating a pattern of dots, comprising a plurality of laser sources held in a manifold defining any one or more of a vector grid, or array grid. A tagging reading apparatus comprising a lens element being adapted to control focus, zoom and ingress light; an image capture element for obtaining image data; a processor element adapted to apply one or more digital processing functions to the image; the processor element being adapted to calculate code data indicative of the tag number.

Abstract: A tag system uses dots to store a very large binary number and combined with the Digital Image Processing functions to allow for a reliable recovery of the tag code regardless of the orientation of the tag to the reader and without the need for the tag pattern to incorporate any form of fiducial mark.

Abstract: A physiotherapy table for treatment of cystic fibrosis and other illnesses has a top consisting of two top sections connected hingedly end to end by adjustable joints which may be releasably locked to hold the two top sections in a number of different angular relationships, each top section being supported in individually vertically adjustable manner by an end frame to which the top section is pivoted and braced by an adjustable stay, the stays, end frames and top sections being foldable to compact form for transport.
