  • Patent number: 12208456
Abstract: A method of medical treatment for transecting a ring trapped on an appendage of a patient is described. The method of medical treatment includes inserting a safety guard between the appendage and a portion of the ring, activating a blade motor to rotate a rotary blade aligned with the safety guard, sensing status readings, and transecting the portion of the ring including automatically directing a safety guard actuator to move the safety guard, based at least in part on the status readings, toward the rotary blade thereby urging the ring into contact with the rotary blade.

  • Publication number: 20250028436
Abstract: Various systems and methods are provided that display various geographic maps and depth graphs in an interactive user interface in substantially real-time in response to input from a user in order to determine information related to measured data points, depth levels, and geological layers and provide the determined information to the user in the interactive user interface. For example, a computing device may be configured to retrieve data from one or more databases and generate one or more interactive user interfaces. The one or more interactive user interfaces may display the retrieved data in a geographic map, a heat map, a cross-plot graph, or one or more depth graphs. The user interface may be interactive in that a user may manipulate any of the graphs to identify trends or current or future issues.

  • Patent number: 9562555
Abstract: A fastener assembly includes an insert having a head and a sleeve extending from a bottom surface of the head, with the insert further defining an internal cavity. The head of the insert abuts a first panel with the sleeve extending through a first preformed hole in the first panel. A second panel with a second preformed hole is aligned with the first panel, and a shaft of a fastener pin is inserted through the second preformed hole and into the internal cavity of the insert. Upon rotating the fastener pin, a tee portion at the end of the shaft engages a seat positioned in the internal cavity of the insert. The fastener assembly also includes a compression member positioned around the shaft of the fastener pin that biases the tee portion of the fastener pin into engagement with the seat of the insert.

  • Patent number: 8601443
Abstract: A computer program product comprises a computer useable medium. The computer useable medium has a computer readable program such that when the computer readable medium is executed on a computer, the computer is caused to configure a calling interceptor at a service invocation point corresponding to a first component service of a software application to monitor a service invocation made by the first component service of a second component service of the software application, record a first set of correlation data represented by a first correlation indicator into a trace file, record a unique identifier into the trace file, and send the unique identifier to the second component service thought the service invocation.

  • Patent number: 8521689
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for achieving a balance between pre-filter efficiency and pre-filter throughput. Event subscriptions are obtained for a given event consumer. The event subscriptions define the events to be routed to this event consumer. Pre-filters of varying complexity and filtering power are constructed based on these event subscriptions. A balance between pre-filter efficiency and pre-filter throughput may be achieved by selecting the best pre-filter out of these constructed pre-filters to filter events to its associated event consumer. The best pre-filter is selected by comparing a complexity threshold (e.g., a limit for the number of atomic Boolean expressions in a pre-filter) with the actual complexity (e.g., the actual number of atomic Boolean expressions) for each constructed pre-filter and selecting the most complex pre-filter without exceeding the threshold.

  • Patent number: 8266166
Abstract: A mechanism is provided for converting after image data into a delta level change. An after image business graph is first transformed into a generic after image business graph. Another transformation is performed transforming the generic after image business graph into a second after image business graph, using delta information from another enterprise information system is used to create a delta business graph. A final transformation is performed to convert the delta business graph into a generic delta business graph.

  • Publication number: 20120149040
Abstract: The present invention provides a method, an assay and a kit for providing an indication of abnormal cell function. The present inventors describes ADAM12 as a overall general marker for abnormal cell function, and the present inventor for the first time demonstrate that ADAM12 is an important indicator of fetal chromosomal disease and placenta function. Specifically ADAM12 is a good marker for e.g. Downs's syndrome, trisomy 18, preeclampsia, Turner syndrome in both first and second trimester. The present inventors developed an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and a time-resolved immunofluorometric assay for the quantification of ADAM12 in serum. The present application demonstrates in several examples the variation of the ADAM12 level in fetal abnormality and/or adverse pregnancy outcomes correlated gestational age when compared to normal controls. It is an object of the invention to provide an improvement of the existing marker tests that exhibits a decreased false positive rate.

The computer useable medium has a computer readable program such that when the computer readable medium is executed on a computer, the computer is caused to configure an interceptor at a service invocation point corresponding to a component service of a software application. Further, the computer is caused to record, at the interceptor, data in a trace file. The data is associated with a service invocation at the service invocation point. Finally, the computer is caused to provide the trace file to a service level debugger that navigates through the trace file.
