  • Patent number: 12203916
Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing soil are generally provided. In particular, the disclosure provides systems and methods for determining bulk density of soil using rotational soil penetrometers. In some embodiments, the bulk density is determined by obtaining spectroscopic data and penetration torque data from the rotational soil penetrometer, and determining the bulk density of the soil based at least in part on the spectroscopic data and the penetration torque data. Bulk density may be combined with in situ measurements of elemental composition (e.g., carbon content) of soil in order to calculate total quantities of an element (e.g., carbon) in an area's topsoil. Also disclosed herein are systems and methods for modeling bulk density and/or carbon content of soil, based at least in part on spectroscopic data and penetration torque data. For example, trained statistical models determination are provided herein.

  • Patent number: 12144573
Abstract: A robotic surgical system configured to control movement of a first instrument and a second instrument, each of which is on a robotic manipulator. In described modes of operation, movement of the first instrument is surgeon controlled based on surgeon input to the robotic system. Movement of the second instrument is also surgeon controlled, but its motion is defined by the chosen mode of operation which sets the amplitude and direction of the second instrument's motion relative to the actual or instructed motion of the first instrument. In this way, two instruments are simultaneously moved based on input from a single surgeon input device.

  • Patent number: 12136135
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to processing operations configured to improve data ingestion processing for management of domain-specific data through a software data platform. Processing described herein provides technical advantages, provided through a software data platform, that enable a user (e.g., an administrator) of an organization to more easily integrate and manage domain-specific data within a software data platform. A graphical user interface (GUI) of a software data platform is configured to guide an administrative user through data mapping processing so that the administrator can more easily integrate its organizational data into the software data platform. Insights may be automatically generated and provided to the user through the GUI, which may help to guide the administrator through the data mapping process. In further examples, generated insights may be provided as recommendations (or autocorrections) designed to foster a successful data mapping to aid provisioning of data.

  • Publication number: 20240362839
Abstract: Described herein is a computer implemented method. The method includes receiving, via an input device, first user input drawing an input shape and generating, based on the first user input, original drawing data that includes an ordered set of points that define the input shape. The original drawing is processed to generate an input vector which also includes an ordered set of points. The input shape is then classified as a first template shape by processing the input vector using a machine learning model. A new shape is then generated based on the first template shape and the original drawing data.

  • Publication number: 20240358439
Abstract: A system and method provide feedback to guide a user to arrange components of a surgical robotic system in a suitable arrangement for the surgical procedure to be performed. An image of a medical procedure site at which a robotic manipulator and a second object such as a second robotic manipulator, patient table, patient, and bedside staff are located. The image is displayed for a user. The system uses computer vision to recognize the robotic manipulator and second object in the image and determine their relative positions. Based on the type of surgical procedure that is to be performed, the system determines a target position for the robotic manipulator and/or the second object, and displays, as an overlay to the displayed image, a graphical indication of the target position.
