  • Patent number: 12177922
Abstract: Communication endpoints, including but not limited to, mobile communication devices may lose connectivity with the network mid-call. If the call does not resume relatively quickly, the system resources utilized for the call will be released and become available for other calls. However, at a later time, the inadvertently disconnected endpoint may reestablish network connectivity. By providing a system that receives a signal, such as the result of an API or polling, the reconnected endpoint is detected and the call may automatically be reestablished between the communication endpoints after the call's resources have been repurposed.

  • Publication number: 20240177711
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables provision of sales guidance to an agent on a real-time communication session based on background sound identified during the communication session. In a particular embodiment, a method includes receiving audio from a first endpoint operated by a first user. The audio is received over a real-time communication session established between the first endpoint and a second endpoint operated by an agent of a contact center. The method further includes identifying sound other than a voice of the first user from the audio and determining a characteristic of the first user indicated by the sound. During the communication session, the method includes providing sales guidance to the agent based on the characteristic.

  • Patent number: 11794989
Abstract: Pre-assembled, self-contained, portable tank and method of using the tank for storing backflow fluids during hydrocarbon production operations. Tank is rapidly deployable and has a collapsible and refillable bladder for storing approximately 50,000 gallons or 1200 BBLS of fluids and a secondary containment with a holding capacity 120% of that of the bladder. When closed for transport, the tank is sufficiently compact and light to be movable with a light body pickup truck with an accompanying trailer over public roadways. After delivery to a site, a crew of two to five persons can set-up the tank for use within about 20 to 120 minutes.

  • Patent number: 11528365
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein enables communications among users having communication session requests waiting in a queue. In a particular embodiment, a method includes determining that a first communication session request from a first endpoint is in a queue for establishing a communication session with a receiving endpoint to which the queue is regulating access. While the first communication session request is in the queue, the method includes connecting the first endpoint to a communication channel between the first endpoint and a second endpoint having a second communication session request in the queue. Also, while the first communication session request is in the queue, the method includes exchanging user communications between the first endpoint and the second endpoint over the communication channel.

  • Patent number: 10999440
Abstract: Dynamically routing and re-evaluating a work item based on actions taken on the work item (e.g., adding context information). The augmented routing system categories a work item into one or more dynamic work categories and identifies active knowledge workers and/or knowledge articles based on the work categories. The work item is displayed in a dynamic knowledge worker view, which allows the knowledge worker to take action on the work item. The actions a knowledge worker may take are based on permissions of the knowledge worker, one of the actions that a knowledge worker may take on a work item is to add context information to the work item. After an action is taken on a work item, the system re-evaluates the work item, which may result in the work item being added/removed from one or more work categories; and added/removed from one or more dynamic customized knowledge worker views.

  • Patent number: 10827074
Abstract: Routing one or more routing characteristics of a communication session/or agent session are identified in real-time. For example, a routing characteristic is captured for a communication session (e.g., a voice call) as it goes into a contact center queue and then to an agent communication endpoint. The routing characteristics of the communication session/agent sessions is compared to one or more predefined routing characteristics that identify a wanted and/or unwanted communication session routing behavior/agent session in the contact center network. In response to identifying the wanted and/or unwanted communication session routing behavior in the contact center network, routing of the communication session and/or agent session in the contact center network are automatically changed.

  • Publication number: 20120188329
Abstract: Systems are provided for vertical perspective correction during image processing. An image processor may receive an input image from an image sensor and output a lower resolution output image that may be suitable for transmission during videoconferencing. Triangular portions of an input image may be masked to produce a trapezoidal masked image. The trapezoidal masked image may be horizontally scaled using a varying horizontal scale factor. The image may be vertically scaled using a vertical scale factor.

  • Publication number: 20060251915
Abstract: A composition is disclosed comprising a long-chain quaternary ammonium compound and a wood preservative active agent or a mixture thereof. The long-chain quaternary ammonium compound includes at least one alkyl moiety having from 16 to 50 carbon atoms, unsubstituted or substituted with one or more N, O, S, or halogen atoms. A method of treating wood is disclosed, comprising impregnating wood with the above composition in an amount effective to reduce the preservative active ingredient loss in the treated wood or to increase the resistance of the wood to decay. Treated wood and wood products are disclosed comprising wood impregnated with the above composition, including a treatment level of the long-chain quaternary ammonium compound effective to reduce the preservative active ingredient loss in the treated wood or to increase the resistance of the wood to decay.

  • Publication number: 20050132926
Abstract: Water-based wax emulsions, optionally for use in conjunction with alkaline copper and/or quaternary ammonium based preservatives systems, are described. These emulsions are comprised of natural or synthetic wax, nonionic surfactants having HL B values greater than 11, anionic surfactants, and water. Certain emulsion compositions as described in this specification posses the unique property of maintaining emulsion stability in wood preservatives during extended use in typical wood treatment processes. Water-repellant wood treated with the wax emulsions are described. A method of treating wood, comprising providing wood and treating the wood with the wax emulsion under conditions effective to increase its water repellency is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20050003190
Abstract: The specification describes preserved solid wood or wood composites including a copper ammonium acetate complex wood preservative and a drying oil. The wood preservative is present in the wood in an amount effective to improve the resistance of the treated wood to at least one type of decomposition, such as decay or insect attack. The drying oil is present in the wood in an effective amount to accomplish at least one useful end, such as reducing the water absorption or thickness swell of the treated wood or increasing its mechanical strength, even in a wood composite made using less binding resin than usual. Yet another aspect of the invention is a method of making the treated wood from green wood in solid or flaked form. A copper ammonium acetate complex wood preservative and optionally a drying oil are added to the green wood.
