  • Patent number: 8925382
Abstract: A system for measuring a volume of a liquid has a keg with a nozzle and a dip tube extending into the keg, a coupler having a gas flow path and a liquid flow path, a transducer cooperative with the gas flow path so as to measure a pressure of gas in the keg and cooperative with the liquid flow path so as to measure a pressure of the liquid at a location above the nozzle of the keg, and a controller connected to the transducer so as to measure a difference between the measured pressure of the gas and the measured pressure of the liquid. The controller converts the measured difference into a value corresponding to a volume of the liquid in the keg. The system can also be used to monitor the temperature of the liquid within the keg.

  • Publication number: 20060190422
Abstract: A communication system that is capable of collecting information from one or more users of the communication system includes one or more data collection mechanisms that are operated by a first entity. The mechanisms operate to collect at least a portion of information from a user of a communication system on behalf of a second entity that is different than the first entity. The system also includes one or more memory modules that are coupled to the one or more data collection mechanisms and that are operable to store one or more records on behalf of the second entity. Each of the one or more records comprises information that is associated with a client of the second entity. At least one of the one or more records comprises at least a portion of the information collected from the user of the communication system. In one particular embodiment, the one or more records are controlled by the first entity.

  • Publication number: 20060190424
Abstract: A communication system that is capable of collecting information from one or more users of the communication system includes one or more memory modules. The memory modules are operable to store one or more scripts that each comprises one or more queries for information to a user. The system also includes one or more data collection mechanisms that are coupled to the one or more memory modules and are operable to collect at least a portion of information from the user of the communication system using at least one of the one or more scripts. In one particular embodiment, the at least one script used to collect information from the user comprises one or more dynamic links that automatically initiate one or more functions based at least in part on the portion of information collected from the user.

  • Publication number: 20060048534
Abstract: A self propelled food and beverage receptacle apparatus where an insulated receptacle is in combination with a series of wheels, a precise steering mechanism, and a motor. The apparatus is capable of differential speed, precise steering, and breaking. Moreover, this self propelled receptacle is thought to be most beneficial in serving large crowds, where the stored cargo must be quickly and efficiently transported over relatively large distances where other transportation systems are not available. Particular embodiments are envisioned where a device operator may ride upon the insulated receptacle, or merely guide the receptacle with very little effort. The apparatus may be configured to have three or four wheels.

  • Patent number: 6302079
Abstract: The present invention is directed toward a rotary combustion motor and method of operation. The rotary combustion engine has dual rotors that are driven by timed combustions of fuel in a large combustion chamber and a small combustion chamber. Intake valving is also provided by dual intake rotors, each of which provide a time delivery of fuel to the large combustion chamber and the small combustion chamber. Gears control the timing between each of the rotors.
