Abstract: Various systems, devices, components, and methods are disclosed for measuring the concentration of an analyte, such as acetone, in a breath sample. The disclosed devices include a breath sample analysis device having a mouthpiece configured to facilitate engagement with a user's mouth to receive a breath sample. The disclosed devices also include a breath sample capture cartridge containing an interactant that extracts the analyte from a breath sample passed through the cartridge. Also disclosed are devices for routing the breath sample through the cartridge during exhalation, and for analyzing a reaction in the cartridge to measure a concentration of the analyte.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing animal information related to at least one animal may sense, with at least one sensor of at least one device on the animal or in the animal's environment, information related to the animal. At least one device processor may automatically transform the sensed information into descriptive information describing a condition of the animal or related to the animal. The at least one device processor and/or at least one remote processor in communication with the at least one device processor may compare the descriptive information to known information relevant to the condition. The at least one device processor and/or at least one mobile device in communication with the at least one device processor may report information about the animal utilizing the descriptive information and the database information.

Abstract: A reactor pressure vessel supports the flanges of a core barrel assembly and an upper support plate. These flanges have aligned holes for diverting inlet coolant water to the vessel head for cooling the head. The aligned holes have different cross-sectional areas for controlling unexpected backflow of coolant water from the vessel head around the periphery of the upper support plate.
