Patent number: 11977230Abstract: A wearable display system includes one or more emissive micro-displays, e.g., micro-LED displays. The micro-displays may be monochrome micro-displays or full-color micro-displays. The micro-displays may include arrays of light emitters. Light collimators may be utilized to narrow the angular emission profile of light emitted by the light emitters. Where a plurality of emissive micro-displays is utilized, the micro-displays may be positioned at different sides of an optical combiner, e.g., an X-cube prism which receives light rays from different micro-displays and outputs the light rays from the same face of the cube. The optical combiner directs the light to projection optics, which outputs the light to an eyepiece that relays the light to a user's eye. The eyepiece may output the light to the user's eye with different amounts of wavefront divergence, to place virtual content on different depth planes.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2019Date of Patent: May 7, 2024Assignee: Magic Leap, Inc.Inventors: Michael Anthony Klug, Evgeni Poliakov, Jahja I. Patent number: 11960564Abstract: Data processing systems and methods, according to various embodiments, are adapted for determining a categorization for each tracking tool that executes on a particular webpage based on a variety of criteria, such as the purpose of the tracking tool and its source script. The system may compare the characteristics of tracking tools on a webpage to a database of known tracking tools to determine the appropriate categorization. When a user visits the webpage, the system analyzes these categories and determines whether the tracking tool should be permitted to run based on the categories and/or other criteria, such as whether the user has consented to the use of that type of tracking tool.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 2023Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: OneTrust, LLCInventors: Patrick Whitney, Kevin Jones, Brian Kelly, Subramanian Viswanathan, Casey Hill, Jeffrey Baucom, Madhusudhan Kunhambu, Mithun Babu, Rajneesh Kesavan, Santosh Kumar Koti, Sathish Gopalakrishnan, Anand Balasubramanian, Mohamed Kabad, Jayamohan Puthenveetil, Jonathan Blake Brannon

Patent number: 11947708Abstract: In particular embodiments, a sensitive data management system is configured to remove sensitive data after a period of non-use. Credentials used to access remote systems and/or third-party systems are stored with metadata that is updated with each use of the credentials. After a period of non-use, determined based on credential metadata, the credentials are deleted. Personal data retrieved to process a consumer request is stored with metadata that is updated with each use of the personal data. After a period of non-use, determined based on personal data metadata, the personal data is deleted. The personal data is also deleted if the system determines that the process or system that caused the personal data to be retrieved is no longer in use. An encrypted version of personal data may be stored for later use in verifying proper consumer request fulfillment.Type: GrantFiled: December 30, 2022Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: OneTrust, LLCInventors: Jonathan Blake Brannon, Kevin Jones, Saravanan Pitchaimani, Jeremy Turk

Patent number: 11942013Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for improving the color uniformity of a display of a display device. A plurality of images of the display are captured using an image capture device. The plurality of images are captured in a color space, with each image corresponding to one of a plurality of color channels. A global white balance is performed to the plurality of images to obtain a plurality of normalized images. A local white balance is performed to the plurality of normalized images to obtain a plurality of correction matrices. Performing the local white balance includes defining a set of weighting factors based on a figure of merit and computing a plurality of weighted images based on the plurality of normalized images and the set of weighting factors. The plurality of correction matrices are computed based on the plurality of weighted images.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Magic Leap, Inc.Inventors: Kevin Messer, Miller Harry Schuck, III, Nicholas Ihle Morley, Po-Kang Huang, Nukul Sanjay Shah, Marshall Charles Capps, Robert Blake Taylor

Patent number: 11930156Abstract: Methods, devices and systems are disclosed for improved depth perception in stereoscopic night vision devices. Among these are embodiments for aligning information overlays in the stereo view with associated objects, and for generating stereo information from single lenses or intensifiers. In some illustrative embodiments, a camera and position sensor are provided for at least two viewers, e.g., a pilot and a copilot, such that when a scene overlaps between viewers, the system produces a stereoptic scene, in which the users can more accurately determine a difference in depth between two or more distant objects. An illustrative binocular night vision system uses a high-resolution depth map to present binocular images to a user. In some embodiments, supplementary content can be overlaid, with an appropriate binocular disparity that is based on the depth map.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2022Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: Applied Minds, LLCInventors: Michael Keesling, Clinton Blake Hope, Kevin Robert Keegan, Kjerstin Irja Williams, Bran Ferren, David Foor

Patent number: 11921865Abstract: Aspects of the present invention provide methods, apparatuses, systems, computing devices, computing entities, and/or the like for identifying data processing activities associated with various data assets based on data discovery results. In accordance various aspects, a method is provided comprising: identifying and scanning data assets to detect a subset of the data assets, wherein each asset of the subset is associated with a particular data element used for target data; generating a prediction for each pair of data assets of the subset on the target data flowing between the pair; identifying a data flow for the target data based on the prediction generated for each pair; and identifying a data processing activity associated with handling the target data based on a correlation identified for the particular data element, the subset, and/or the data flow with a known data element, subset, and/or data flow for the data processing activity.Type: GrantFiled: March 14, 2023Date of Patent: March 5, 2024Assignee: OneTrust, LLCInventors: Jonathan Blake Brannon, Kevin Jones, Saravanan Pitchaimani, Dylan D. Patent number: 11914150Abstract: A wearable display system includes a light projection system having one or more emissive microdisplays, e.g., micro-LED displays. The light projection system projects time-multiplexed left-eye and right-eye images, which pass through an optical router having a polarizer and a switchable polarization rotator. The optical router is synchronized with the generation of images by the light projection system to impart a first polarization to left-eye images and a second different polarization to right-eye images. Light of the first polarization is incoupled into an eyepiece having one or more waveguides for outputting light to one of the left and right eyes, while light of the second polarization may be incoupled into another eyepiece having one or more waveguides for outputting light to the other of the left and right eyes. Each eyepiece may output incoupled light with variable amounts of wavefront divergence, to elicit different accommodation responses from the user's eyes.Type: GrantFiled: December 20, 2019Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: MAGIC LEAP, INC.Inventors: Jahja I.
