  • Publication number: 20210171235
Abstract: A child-resistant storage container comprising a sleeve having an end opening through which a container can be inserted and an aperture in a side thereof, and a container having outer dimensions substantially equivalent to the inner dimensions of the sleeve and slidably insertable therein. The container has at least one tab proximate a side of the container, the tab operative to automatically extend through the aperture in the sleeve when the container is inserted therein, thereby preventing the removal of the container from the sleeve unless the at least one tab is depressed while pulling the container from the sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20110035316
Abstract: A process for providing bank credit to retailers for cash collections that are carried out during retailers' normal business operations. The process entails a retailer collecting cash over a period of time, such as over a single or multiple business days, generally in exchange for goods and/or services, depositing the collected cash into one or more electronic safes disposed at the retailer's location or locations, calculating at a designated time, such as the end of day at each location, a total amount of cash that has been deposited into the retailer's safes over such period of time, and electronically transmitting data files that identify the calculated total amounts of cash accepted by the retailer over the period of time. The retailer is credited, for example, by a bank, with the total cash deposits as reported by the electronic safes at the end of each business day.

  • Publication number: 20060166799
Abstract: A multidirectional abdominal exercise apparatus is disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the exercise apparatus includes a frame having an upright member, a bench or seat, and a pair of arm members connected to at least two pivoting members. The first pivoting member pivots in a first direction about a first axis substantially perpendicular to the floor. The second pivoting member is pivotally connected to the first pivoting member and pivots in a second direction about a second axis substantially perpendicular to the first direction and substantially perpendicular to a forward direction. Thus, a user can pivot the arm members in the first direction, the second direction, and both the first and second direction concurrently.

  • Publication number: 20060089242
Abstract: An exercise machine designed to exercise the upper body, focusing particularly on the core abdominal muscles but also on the arms, shoulders and chest. The machine comprises a structural frame with an adjustable seating mechanism, a handlebar and one or more position-adjustable targets against which a user throws a weighted ball. The machine provides two modes of exercise. In the seated mode the user exercises the abdominal muscles by rocking the body while seated in the flexible, adjustable-resistance, back-supported seating mechanism. The back support element of the seating mechanism is adjustable into a flat position, effectively converting the seat into a bench. In bench mode, the user, laying face up on the bench and holding onto the handlebar for stability, exercises the lower abs by performing leg-raising crunches. The machine is designed to be uniquely stimulating and fun to use. It may be folded compactly for storage.

  • Publication number: 20050245370
Abstract: The present invention is an exercise machine of providing a double aerobic workout combined with toning and sculpting for selected lower body muscle groups. The machine efficiently affords multiple exercise modes, including a standing power walk with arm toning exercise, a standing bun and thigh kick muscle toning workout and step aerobics. The invention comprises a sleek, lightweight frame with a padded base for stepping, standing or walking in place upon, a rotating power arm with stabilizing handgrip, and interchangeable pull handles and a foot attachment mechanism connected to elastic cords creating adjustable levels of pull resistance. In the first exemplary embodiment, the machine employs a detachable power arm and front frame with an adjustable height foot base. In the second exemplary embodiment, the power arm and front frame are release-hinged for efficient folding for storage. In a third exemplary embodiment, the padded base is not height adjustable.

  • Publication number: 20050221965
Abstract: An exercise device for exercising different groups of arm muscles. The device is hollow, having front and rear curved walls and top and bottom longitudinal pieces. The top and bottom longitudinal pieces have a series of tension-adjustment anchor holes. Anchors are removably attached to the anchor holes. Elastic ropes are secured at one end to the anchors and at the other end to handles. The ropes go from the anchors, around pulleys, across the length of the device, around another set of pulleys, across the length of the device, and out the exit holes in ferrules to attach to the handles. The ropes may attach to the handles axially or perpendicularly.

  • Publication number: 20050137068
Abstract: An abdominal exercise machine having a floor supported bench and a mast pivotally connected to an end of the bench by a universal joint connection. A pair of double acting hydraulic cylinders are pivotally connected between the end of the bench and the mast. The connection of the cylinders to the bench is a universal joint connection. A footrest assembly is connected to the mast. A recumbent exerciser can not only exercise the main and lower abdominal muscles by pushing and pulling the mast against the resistance of the hydraulic cylinders in a back and forth direction aligned with the longitudinal axis of the bench, but also the side or oblique muscles by simultaneously pivoting the mast back and forth in a transverse direction. The machine also allows a combination of the above motions including a circular type motion in either direction, clockwise or counterclockwise.
