The push-stick retention mechanism may be defined by upright side walls that define a channel or slot therebetween for receiving a push-stick.     Abstract: A centrifugal switch device for an induction motor includes a microswitch mounted on the casing of the induction motor, a protective cover mounted on the microswitch for encompassing and contacting the push button of the microswitch, a sliding member secured to the casing and slidably mounted on the shaft, an extension extending outward from the sliding member and having a pressing piece releasably pressing the protective cover for urging the protective cover to press the push button of the microswitch, a fan secured on the shaft to rotate therewith, a pressing disk secured in the fan to rotate therewith and slidably mounted on the shaft for detachably urging the sliding member, two urging members each pivotally mounted on the fan and each attached to the pressing disk for moving the pressing disk on the shaft relative to the sliding member, and two biasing members each mounted on the two urging members for pivoting the two urging members.

    Abstract: An improved base structure of a circular saw includes a base, a rotatable base plate mounted on the base, a mounting seat, and a rotary seat. The base plate has an upper face provided with a recess at a rear end. The mounting seat is screwably secured on both sides of the recess, and has a pivot portion with a screw hole at a bottom end. The pivot portion is located in the recess. The rotary seat can rotate relative to the mounting seat and is provided with a curved slide groove for receiving an adjusting screw. The rotary seat has a pivot portion at a bottom end that corresponds to the pivot portion of the mounting seat.
