  • Publication number: 20210131072
Abstract: A work machine that has a chassis, a payload section, a controller, a payload sensor in communication with the controller, and an orientation sensor that identifies the orientation of the work machine to the controller. The controller determines a center of gravity for the work machine considering a payload weight identified by the payload sensor and sends an alert when the location of the center of gravity and the orientation of the work machine create an unstable condition.

  • Patent number: 10568573
Abstract: Users of head-mounted displays (HMDs) often experience nausea and other symptoms often referred to a “virtual reality sickness.” Various health and biometric sensors are employed to gather baseline sensor measurements. The HMD or a device associated with it can then generate a range or threshold such that any future sensor measurements that fall outside of the range or cross the threshold suggest a health concern for the user of the HMD. The HMD can also be coupled to a microphone, and natural language processing (NLP) is employed to detect negative words or noises made by the user that could also suggest a health concern for the user. After detecting the health concern, the HMD can warn its user, can shut off certain functions, can communicate with an external device, or can trigger an alarm.

  • Patent number: 9008933
Abstract: A system includes a monitoring module, a congestion module, a modification module, and a communication module. The monitoring module monitors vehicles in a transportation network. The congestion module calculates a throughput parameter that is representative of a statistical measure of adherence to a movement plan by the vehicles. The modification module determines a confidence parameter representative of a probability that changing the original meet event does not reduce the throughput parameter. The modification module modifies the original meet event to an updated meet event when the confidence parameter exceeds a predetermined threshold. The communication module transmits the updated meet event to the yielding vehicle and/or the passing vehicle, for the yielding vehicle and/or the passing vehicle to receive the updated meet event from the communication module and change a speed of the yielding vehicle or the passing rail vehicle to arrive at the updated meet event.

  • Patent number: 8037452
Abstract: An integrated source code control and work item tracking tool is capable of establishing a relationship between work definition and work implementation. Once established, a more holistic view of the development process can be attained, and specific tasks can be easily accomplished. Tasks that may be accomplished using an integrated source code control and work item tracking tool include: automated generation of a list of work items that are completed in a new build of the system; automated updates of work items that are included in a build so that the work item details reflect the build in which it became available; automated transitioning of work items through a workflow when their implementation is complete and when their implementation is available in a new build; validation that source code changes represent the implementation of work items that have been approved; and managing change in the source code system with a focus on what work items it represents rather than a focus on what files are affected.
