Abstract: A track set for toy vehicles is provided herein, the track set having: a first track segment coupled to a first curved track segment; a second track segment coupled to a second curved track segment; a third curved track segment having an inlet end and an outlet end, the inlet end being wider than the outlet end, the inlet end being configured to receive the toy vehicles traveling on the first curved track segment and the second curved track segment; and a snare trap mechanism located at the outlet end of the third curved track segment, wherein the snare trap mechanism is configured to capture a first one of the toy vehicles traveling through the outlet end of the third curved track segment.

Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a component calculator configured to compute at least one component value of a highly programmable analog-to-digital converter (ADC) from at least one application parameter, and a mapping module configured to map the component value to a corresponding register setting of the ADC based on at least one process parameter, wherein the integrated circuit produces digital control signals capable of programming the ADC. In a specific embodiment, the component calculator uses an algebraic function of a normalized representation of the application parameter to approximately evaluate at least one normalized ADC coefficient. The component value is further calculated by denormalizing the normalized ADC coefficient. In another specific embodiment, the component calculator uses an algebraic function of the application parameter to calculate the component value.

The toy vehicle track set also includes a booster or launcher which can propel or launch a toy vehicle onto the launching ramp, into the air, and onto the landing ramp. Further the set includes at least one elongate member with distance indicia, such that a user can measure the distance between the launcher and launching ramp, the launching ramp and receiving ramp, or some combination thereof. The toy vehicle track set enhances the play value of toy vehicle track sets by providing reliable and measurable jumps.
