Patent number: 12257484Abstract: A method of making a golf club head includes interposing bonding tape between a first piece and a second piece of the golf club head such that the first piece is temporarily adhered to the second piece via a tackiness of the bonding tape. The method additionally includes positioning the first piece, the second piece, and the bonding tape, interposed between the first piece and the second piece, in a vacuum bag, and reducing a pressure within the vacuum bag, relative to a pressure external to the vacuum bag, such that the vacuum bag collapses onto the first piece and the second piece and compresses the bonding tape between the first piece and the second piece. The method also includes heating the bonding tape, at least to a curing temperature of the bonding tape, when the pressure within the vacuum bag is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2023Date of Patent: March 25, 2025Assignee: TAYLOR MADE GOLF COMPANY, INC.Inventors: Charles Chou, Mark Greaney, Stephen Kraus, Bryan Cheng, Kevin Cheng, Matthew Greensmith, Christopher Harbert, Todd Beach, Matthew D. Publication number: 20240341693Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for predicting glycemic events in a patient induced as a result of physical activity. In certain aspects, a method includes monitoring a plurality of analytes of the patient continuously during a time period to obtain analyte signals, the plurality of analytes including at least glucose and lactate. The method further includes processing the analyte data from the time period to determine signal-to-noise ratios of the analyte signal. The method then compares the signal-to-noise ratios to each other to determine if a sensor in the continuous analyte monitoring system is non-responsive. In alternative embodiments, a reference signal is obtained and a reference signal-to-noise ratio is compared to the analyte signal-to-noise ratio to determine if a sensor in the continuous analyte monitoring system is non-responsive.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2024Publication date: October 17, 2024Inventors: Qi AN, Kevin CHENG, Anna C. Publication number: 20240335168Abstract: The present disclosure describes a continuous analyte monitoring system that may monitor, generate, and analyze data for analytes (e.g., glucose and/or lactate) and non-enzymes simultaneously. In certain aspects, an analyte sensor system includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and a sensor electronics module. The first electrode generates a first analyte signal stream. The second electrode generates a non-enzyme signal stream indicating a level of a non-enzyme over time. The sensor electronics module determines a level of a first analyte based on the first analyte signal stream and adjusts the level of the first analyte based on the non-enzyme signal stream.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2024Publication date: October 10, 2024Inventors: Qi AN, Kevin CHENG, Devon M. Patent number: 11914501Abstract: An instrumentation analysis system processes data streams by executing instructions specified using a data stream language program. A user interface allows users to specify data stream language programs. The user interface presents widgets to the user to specify various components of a data stream language program, including a filter expression, an analytical function representing an aggregation or transformation, and so on. The user interface allows users to specify an expression based on results of previously specified data stream language programs. The instrumentation analysis system processes the data stream language programs specified by the user to generate a set of result data streams and plots the result data streams, for example, on a screen of a client device.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2021Date of Patent: February 27, 2024Assignee: Splunk Inc.Inventors: Eyal Ophir, Kevin Cheng

Publication number: 20230381508Abstract: Administration of low frequency electrical stimulation of the cranial nerves delivered during sleep increases the presence and function of aquaporin-4 (AQP4) channels in the astrocytic endfeet surrounding descending arterioles in the brain. This underlying low frequency stimulation pattern is overlaid with temporally patterned ‘bursts’ of higher frequency stimulation to pulse the underlying artery to drive cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) penetration into the parenchyma. This also serves to create more movement in general within the parenchymal extracellular space to increase the probability of waste biomolecules to interact with sites for active transport out of the brain. During the period of sleep, these two layered patterns will be periodically replaced with multiple continuous periods of stimulation at gamma frequency to promote a more phagocytic phenotype in glial cells to help break down waste biomolecules and misfolded proteins for subsequent clearance.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 25, 2023Publication date: November 30, 2023Inventors: Kip Ludwig, Justin Williams, Kevin Cheng, Nishant Verma
