  • Patent number: 11457614
Abstract: A system and associated methods use an animal harness attached to an animal to improve security at a location (e.g., a home, office, warehouse, etc.). The animal harness collects health status data of the animal, and the health status data is processed using one or more algorithms that detect changes in one or more of excitement, agitation, stress, and/or anxiety in the animal. These changes are interpreted, using a behavioral model of the animal, to determine whether the animal is witnessing a security event at the location, and when the health status data indicates the security event, the system may generate an alert. The behavioral model may be updated over time to improve performance of the algorithms to detect security events.

  • Publication number: 20170091403
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining an ideal treatment plan for a herd of animals includes the steps of testing a statistically significant sample individual animals of the herd for prevalence of a particular disease, collecting at least two animal parameters for each animal of the statistically significant sample, generating lab results determining the existence of the particular disease for each animal of the statistically significant sample, comparing the generated lab results against a database containing information on the particular disease for animals matching the at least two parameters collected from the statistically significant sample, and outputting an ideal herd treatment plan for the herd based on the results of the step of comparing.

  • Publication number: 20120265702
Abstract: Systems and methods issue a certificate for an animal. A request to generate the certificate is received and required information for the certificate is determined based upon rules and regulations, stored within a database, that define information requirements for the certificate. The method interacts with one or more of an owner of the animal, a certified veterinarian, and a laboratory to collect the required information. The certificate is generated with a unique identifier when the required information is complete, and the certificate is stored within the database.
