  • Patent number: 11912556
Abstract: The present specification discloses a method of protecting an inner wall surface of a vessel from damaging interaction with an additive added to the vessel, where the method includes providing the vessel at least part way filled with a liquid product; applying a force on the vessel the force being configured to create a change in shape of a surface of the liquid product; and providing sufficient containment of the additive by the change in shape of the surface of the liquid product to substantially prevent damaging interaction between the inner wall surface of the vessel and the additive for at least an additive reaction time period at the end of which the additive is rendered substantially incapable of producing damaging interaction to the inner wall surface of the vessel.

  • Publication number: 20240002175
Abstract: A cargo transportation, transfer and delivery method and system is disclosed where the primary distances traveled by the cargo in a cargo carrying vehicle, called a ‘transporter’ need not stop to load or unload cargo. The transporter is designed to hold cargo in standardized cargo containers that have been designed to hold a multitude of package or product sizes, types, and weights. These containers are further designed with a motion control and constraining system to aid in the reliable transfer and holding of the cargo containers within the transporter and when being transferred onto and off of the transporter. The containers are further designed to be readily and reliably moved by a cargo transfer system which moves containers on to and off of the transporter. The transporter travels through a tubular passage that may be above ground or below ground allowing it to bypass and otherwise avoid roads which are subject to many traffic starts and stops.

  • Publication number: 20230109919
Abstract: A sensor and/or detector having been optimized to produce a rapid rate of change in capacitive reactance and or inductive reactance such that changes in material composition or signal withing the electromagnetic field of the sensor or detecting means will produce a high rate of change in the output signal of the sensing or detecting means.

  • Publication number: 20220055808
Abstract: The present specification discloses an insert for a fluid product container that provides one or optionally both of a fluid aeration insert, that aerates the fluid product during the pour, and a cryogenic additive insert, that protects the fluid product container from exposure to the extreme low temperatures of a cryogenic additive, such as liquid nitrogen, that can cause damaging interaction with the container lining that exposes fluid product to the bare metal of the container, negatively affecting the flavor or safety of a beverage and/or causing structural damage to the container. The cryogenic additive insert provides a cryogenic additive tray having a cryogenic additive holding concavity that receives and hold a cryogenic additive during the filling process such that the cryogenic additive is isolated from the walls of the container. The fluid aeration insert includes a multiplicity of aeration openings through which the fluid product must flow during pouring.

  • Publication number: 20220008872
Abstract: The present specification discloses an aeration container that automatically aerates wines and other beverages simultaneously while being poured or directly consumed from the aeration container. The aeration container includes an aeration plate that divides the beverage into multiple streams to maximize surface area in contact with the surrounding air. Further, a dispensing nozzle is provided with a converging dispensing passage with air syphon holes formed transversely into the passage to permit air to be syphoned into the converging dispensing passage for further aeration of the beverage flowing therethrough. The present aeration container permits immediate enjoyment of an aerated beverage without the increased wait time and extra step of existing methods.

  • Patent number: 10215720
Abstract: The present device relates to a sensor capable of detecting changes in the electromagnetic field it generates when in proximity to either conductive or nonconductive materials. This occurs by way of oscillating a transmit coil with an electro motive force at a resonant frequency thus creating an electromagnetic field. The magnetic field passes through a target of either conductive or nonconductive material and is then intercepted by a receive coil which likewise oscillates at a resonant frequency, which when in proximity to the transmit coil and transmit coils resonant frequency produces an enhanced signal by way of the interaction of the respective resonant frequencies and receive coil output.

  • Publication number: 20170270218
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of providing manipulated content to a user from a website page. The method identifies the location and size of defined regions within a website page, such as document division elements. The site page is built on a virtual display, and a site page coordinate system is established to locate the defined region relative to an origin. The site page is then converted to an image file, where an image file coordinate system corresponds to the site page coordinate system to permit the locating and mapping of the defined regions images on the image file, for cropping and so that the original hyperlinks can be reassociated with the defined regions images. Individual defined regions images in cropped form may be communicated to and positioned on a user interface. An updated image may compared with the original image to determine if the content has changed.

The system periodically queries the webpage to determine if the website has changed, and creates an updates image to replace the image when the website has changed. This method of allowing user selected webpage aggregation onto one or more user accessible pages gives the user the ability to read and overview a multitude of information sources quickly at one location, while using fewer resources compared to opening a plurality of browser instances on the user's computer.

  • Patent number: 6976343
Abstract: A sinusoidal structural member having a dual component flange is provided. In the preferred embodiment, the flange (both upper and lower) is comprised of at least two components. These two components can be produced by dividing the flange lengthwise; where the division plane is substantially parallel to the plane of the web, when observing a standard flange-web relationship; and the geometry of the division border substantially matches the sinusoidal geometry of the web. The two resulting flange components substantially complement one another; wherein the sine peak of one component fits within the sine valley of its corresponding component, leaving a gap sufficient to accommodate the thickness of the web to be interposed. The sinusoidal web, substantially matching the division pattern of the flange components, is compressively sandwiched between the flange components, with sufficient compression to bring the sinusoidal web within dimensional compliance.
