  • Patent number: 7142168
Abstract: An apparatus for mounting and adjusting a satellite antenna in the azimuth and elevational planes. The present invention provides a base having a longitudinal axis adaptable to adjustably receive a mounting pole. A rotational mount is rotatably connected to the base and has a longitudinal axis extending at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the base. A satellite antenna support is adaptable to receive a satellite antenna, and the satellite antenna support is adjustably coupled to the rotational mount for adjustment about a rotational axis wherein the rotational axis is substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the rotational mount. A first adjustment mechanism is coupled to the base and the rotational mount for providing fine azimuth adjustment of the satellite antenna. A second adjustment mechanism is coupled to the rotational mount and the satellite antenna support for \providing fine elevational adjustment of the satellite antenna.

  • Patent number: 6871443
Abstract: A flying inspect trap includes large, multi-directional, oppositely facing ingress openings to elongated chambers housing UV lamps emitting insect attractant light. A disposable cartridge has two sections which mate together to form a container for a roll of adhesive trapping medium. The cartridge sections are opened and spread apart to fit beneath the UV lamps. A motor indexes the adhesive medium so that some unused portion is always available for trapping insects until the roll is exhausted. The spent roll is then rolled into one cartridge section externally; and the two cartridge sections are coupled together to encase the spent roll for disposal.

  • Patent number: 5651211
Abstract: A wall mounted trap for flies and other flying insects includes an open topped cover shell concealing within a light source and a replaceable cartridge of trapping material. The light source is spaced substantially outwardly from the wall surface on which the trap is mounted and is situated adjacent the upper edge of the cover shell for radiating substantial light onto the wall surface directly above the trap. Likewise, a portion of the interior surface of the trap is of a shape and position relative to the light source for concentrating light from the source onto a wall surface immediately adjacent and above the trap. The replaceable cartridge includes a strip of trapping material arranged in a dispensing roll and adapted to be advanced therefrom to a take-up roller for presenting an upwardly facing exposed length of trapping material therebetween. The trapping material is housed within an open topped container for thorough collection of insects and sanitary handling of the used cartridges.
