  • Publication number: 20250080392
Abstract: A method of a bridge network device manager can include performing a first query on a device of a network of operational technology devices; gathering first feature information of the device based on the first query; generating a first instance of a device record that includes the first feature information; selecting a second query based on the first instance of the device record, the second query selected from a query set for features of operational technology devices operating in a particular physical domain; performing the second query on the device; gathering second feature information of the device based on the second query; updating the device record based on the second feature information to generate an updated device record; and predicting a type of the device based on the updated device record. Additional queries can be performed to predict the device record.

  • Publication number: 20220261483
Abstract: An approach is provided for a maritime cyber risk assessment profiling tool. The tool accesses a risk profile for one or more maritime vessels, wherein the risk profile includes a plurality of attack vectors targeting a plurality of systems associated with the one or more maritime vessels, and wherein each of the plurality of attack vectors is associated with a quantified risk value. The tool retrieves a risk update from a dynamic risk data source. The tool updates the risk profile based on the risk update, including a first attack vector. The tool causes display of a risk assessment for the one or more maritime vessels based on the updated risk profile, wherein the risk assessment includes risk values assigned for a particular set of the plurality of systems including a risk value that changed based on the update to the first attack vector.

  • Patent number: 8554695
Abstract: A computer-implemented process and apparatus for storing, accessing, and comparing genetic profiles in a form suitable for amateur human analysis is provided. The process includes imputing and storing data that represent individual genetic profiles which have been created using conventional genetic analysis processes. The process and apparatus allow remote consumer access via the internet to genetic profiles owned by consumer which can then be compared against other genetic profiles according to a genetic profile comparison process selected from several available processes. The resulting output of the process is a summary of the genetic profile comparison which answers the question posed by the consumer.

  • Publication number: 20100280676
Abstract: Connecting a load device to a power supply is described. A connection to a load device is detected on a communication link, where the load device is in a first power state. In response to detecting the connection to the load device, a bias power source is enabled to supply bias power on the communication link to the load device. Power information of the load device is received over the communication link. Power is supplied to the load device, based on the power information, to place the load device in a second power state.
