  • Patent number: 11961099
Abstract: A device may receive network data, business data, and user configuration data associated with an entity that is a candidate for a private network and may process the business data and the user configuration data, with a classification machine learning model, to determine a network hardware equipment prediction. The device may process the network data and the business data, with a first linear regression machine learning model, to determine a business output prediction and may utilize a second linear regression machine learning model to determine a data consumption prediction based on the network hardware equipment prediction. The device may process the network hardware equipment prediction, the business output prediction, and the data consumption prediction, with a machine learning model, to determine a financial profitability prediction for the private network and may perform one or more actions based on the financial profitability prediction.

  • Patent number: 10911403
Abstract: A system includes a first processing circuit, a second processing circuit, and a network interface device. The network interface device includes a first communications interface, a second communications interface, and a filtering engine. The first communications interface is configured to receive first data packets from the first processing circuit and communicate the first data packets for transmission to the second processing circuit via a first network pathway. The second communications interface is configured to receive second data packets from the second processing circuit and communicate the second data packets to the first processing circuit via a second network pathway physically separated from the first network pathway. The filtering engine is configured to determine whether the first data packets satisfy an inspection criteria, and transmit the first data packets to the second processing circuit responsive to determining that the first data packets satisfy the inspection criteria.

  • Patent number: 9824593
Abstract: A distributed system for flight and route management (FARM) of one or more aircraft of the system may include onboard processing devices for combining sensor data local to an aircraft with cloud-based data received through the system from other aircraft or from ground-based processing devices, thereby generating situation models of each aircraft relative to its flight path and in the context of current and predictive conditions (weather, traffic, terrain, threats, etc.). The FARM system may evaluate situation models against prioritized constraint sets of business rules or policies associated with each aircraft's flight plan to determine, crosscheck, and implement possible modifications to the flight plan. Localized aircraft data and flight plan modifications may be propagated through the system via a variety of communications networks to provide synchronized, holistic airspace data portraits to aircraft and ground control alike.

  • Patent number: 9509394
Abstract: A system and method are provided for implementing a security construct for downloading, delivering and protecting large amounts of data for transfer to an aircraft upload capability in a short period of time, including between individual legs of a flight for a particular aircraft or fleet of aircraft. Large data packages include In Flight Entertainment and Electronic Flight Bag data. The data is downloaded at an available rate using wired communication paths communicating with various data sources via communication networks to a mobile communication device. The data is secured in the mobile communication device according to particular encryption schemes acceptable to data content providers. The mobile communication device securely holds the data for carriage to the aircraft where wired communication is established to upload the data in available abbreviated amounts of time in a manner that is not dependent on the availability of wireless communicating bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20140128812
Abstract: A tube retention device may prohibit the removal of a tube from a body cavity. The tube retention device may include an elongate segment connected to the tube through a rotatable hinge. The elongate segment may have a length larger than the diameter of the tube. The elongate segment may rotate about the rotatable hinge from an insertion position, in which the length of the elongate segment is parallel to the tube, to a retention position, in which the length of the elongate segment is perpendicular to the tube. In the retention position, engagement of the elongate segment with the interior surface of the body cavity may prohibit removal of the tube from the body cavity.

Abstract: A retrieval snare for entrapping and retaining a foreign object located in a body and a method for manufacturing of the snare are provided. The snare comprises a structure having a proximal portion and a distal portion and includes a plurality of filaments. The filaments extend from an end of the proximal portion towards the distal portion and return to the end of the proximal portion to form a plurality of loops. The loops are not interconnected at the distal portion, but each side of each loop are connected to a side of an adjacent loop in the proximal portion at more than one point, thereby providing structural rigidity and dilatation ability to the snare.
