  • Patent number: 11357214
Abstract: A base for supporting a piezoelectric sensor which includes a generally planar support frame having an opening and a housing mounted in the opening. The housing has an upper portion including a sensor and a lower portion including a biasing member in contact with the sensor. The sensor is biased by the biasing force of the biasing member against the upper portion of the housing, whereby the upper portion is in turn biased by the biasing force against a floor of a cage positioned on the upper side of the support frame.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: June 14, 2022
    Assignee: Signal Solutions, LLC
Inventors: Anuj Agarwal, Michael Lhamon, Kevin Donohue
  • Publication number: 20210059219
Abstract: A base for supporting a piezoelectric sensor comprising: a generally planar support frame having an upper side, a lower side, and an opening defined between the upper side and lower side; and a housing mounted in the opening, the housing including an upper portion and a lower portion, the upper portion including a sensor disposed therein and the lower portion includes a biasing member in contact with the sensor, wherein the sensor is biased by the biasing force of the biasing member against the upper portion of the housing, whereby the upper portion is in turn biased by the biasing force against a floor of a cage positioned on the upper side of the support frame.

  • Publication number: 20190359994
Abstract: Disclosed are double stranded RNA molecules that are toxic to coleopteran insects. In particular, dsRNA molecules that capable of interfering with pest IAP genes and that are toxic to the target pest are provided. Further, methods of making and using the interfering RNA, for example in transgenic plants to confer protection from insect damage are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9681808
Abstract: Monitoring behavior of a rodent within a cage includes applying a vibration stimulus to a component of the cage and after applying the vibration stimulus, sensing a signal from a piezoelectric sensor within the cage, the sensed signal indicative of a behavioral response of the rodent. A plurality of attributes of the signal can be determined and the attributes can then be stored in a manner that associates the behavioral response of the rodent with the vibration stimulus.

Date of Patent: June 20, 2017
    Assignee: Signal Solutions, LLC
