  • Patent number: 10936976
Abstract: A workload change evaluator may receive workload metrics characterizing a plurality of workloads executed within a license environment during a license period, and cost metrics characterizing license costs incurred by license environment during the license period. A baseline model generator may generate a baseline model providing a time-based contribution of each of the plurality of workloads to the license cost during the license period. A cost estimator may receive a potential workload change, and may estimate a license cost change caused by the potential workload change, based on the baseline model.

  • Publication number: 20190299746
Abstract: A heat transfer system includes a vehicle electronic controller, a heat sink, a housing, a controller duct and a fan. The heat sink has fins and is fixed to the controller. The housing encloses the controller and the heat sink. The controller duct connects the housing with an exhaust opening in a passenger cabin in an installed condition. The fan is in fluid communication with one of the housing and the controller duct.

  • Patent number: 10346204
Abstract: A system includes, for each individual data center of a multiplex data center, a collector component, a local data repository, and a model building component. The collector component collects performance metrics of a computing workload running in the each individual data center of the multiplex data center and stores the collected performance metrics in the local data repository. The model building component builds a respective individual model of data center resource use for each individual CPC in the individual data center using the stored performance metrics. The system further includes a model merging component configured to receive and combine the individual CPC models created by the model building components for the individual data centers into a single multiplex data center model applicable to the computing workload across the multiplex data center.
