  • Patent number: 10565956
Abstract: A method and apparatus filter light spectrum. Ambient light conditions of light that is ambient to a user device can be sensed. Ambient light color conditions can be determined based on the sensed ambient light conditions. User device charging times when the user device is being charged can be monitored. User device motion including movement of the user device can be monitored. User device activity can be monitored. Color-modified image display times can be ascertained from at least one selected from the user device motion, the user device activity, and the user device charging times. A color-modified image can be generated based on at least the ambient light color conditions and the color-modified image display times. The color-modified image can be displayed.

  • Patent number: 9037656
Abstract: A method and system for facilitating interaction between an electronic device and a plurality of content provider websites are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving at a server a plurality of information portions provided from the websites, where each of the information portions is associated with a respective copy of information that is available at each of the websites. The method also includes aggregating at the server the information portions so that they are combined into an overall grouping, with the respective information portions being maintained respectively as distinct subportions within the grouping. Further, the method includes sending from the server a message for receipt by a part of the electronic device, the primary message including the grouping. The grouping is sent together with an additional copy of the information or with an indication of that information to which the overall grouping relates.

  • Publication number: 20120155848
Abstract: In one embodiment, a mobile device system capable of viewfinder operation includes a memory device, a photosensitive device capable of receiving light providing an image of an external object, a video screen, and a processing device coupled at least indirectly to each of the memory and photosensitive devices and the screen, where the processing device provides signal(s) to the screen configured to cause the screen to operate as a viewfinder that displays a further image based upon the external object image. The mobile device further includes at least one sensing device either distinct from or associated with the screen, and configured to detect input commands indicated by movement or positioning of at least one object. The processing device causes the screen to display a plurality of options and subsequently to modify the further image displayed by the viewfinder in accordance with the detected commands. Related operational methods are also described.

  • Publication number: 20120158842
Abstract: A method and system for facilitating communication between an electronic device such as a mobile device and a plurality of content provider websites is provided. In one embodiment, the method includes receiving at a server a first message regarding either uploading of a first portion of information to the content provider websites or, if the first portion is already available at the websites, modifying of the first portion, where the first message is a user instruction that includes a second portion of information identifying the websites. The method additionally includes sending a plurality of second messages, respectively, from the server for receipt by the websites, respectively, where each respective one of the second messages includes one or more of the first portion and a respective third portion of information concerning a respective modification. The method can additionally include one or more additional steps, and the system can include the server or the electronic device.
