  • Publication number: 20230185775
Abstract: Monitoring devices, such as air particle counters, having mesh network capabilities are described for implementation in environmental monitoring within a facility. The air particle counters run samples at various facility locations based on a standard operating procedure (SOP). Each air particle counter can opportunistically connect with one or more other air particle counters using mesh networking. Data from samples run by and any new or updated SOP received at the air particle counters can be distributed via database replication across the other air particle counters using the mesh networking such that each air particle counter has a copy of the sample data and a current SOP within its database. A dashboard user interface displaying a hierarchical representation of the SOP and an associated compliance status with the SOP can be generated and updated based on data received from the air particle counters to facilitate SOP management.

  • Patent number: 11624842
Abstract: An apparatus that performs spoof detection of satellite signals based on clock information derived from the satellite signals. The apparatus may include a position, velocity, time (PVT) component that derives the clock information from the satellite signals and provides the clock information to a spoof detection mechanism. In some embodiments, the clock frequency estimate is modeled as a Wiener process.

  • Patent number: 11569539
Abstract: A vehicle system may include an impact screen for reducing damage in a collision involving the vehicle. The impact screen may be disposed in a cavity of the vehicle system between a motor unit and a battery to reduce a likelihood of impact and/or a force of an impact between the motor unit and the battery. The impact screen may be fixed at opposite sides of the vehicle, such that motor unit moves relative to the impact screen during the collision.

  • Publication number: 20230025824
Abstract: This invention is a device and method for weighting and balancing ar hand-held electric angle grinder. A weight shaft is mounted on the frame of the angle grinder coaxially with the axis of rotation of the angle grinder motor. A selection of weights can be mounted on the weight shaft to provide extra downward pressure, through the motor and frame, to the grinding disc of the angle grinder. The weights are also selected to suppress vibration that is produced by the interaction between the grinding disc and the surface. As a result, the present invention provides an angle grinder that is easier and less exhaustingI to use, is less likely to have any harmful effects on the user, is able to provide a more effective functioning of the angle grinder, and is able to provide a treated work surface of better quality and less expense.

  • Patent number: 11352777
Abstract: An expandable shelter assembly that includes a covering hinge coupled to an expandable frame and a base hinge coupled to the expanding frame opposite the covering. The expandable frame is a hollow quadrilateral structure that includes a plurality of sides. The expandable frame includes a collapsed state and a deployed state. When collapsed, the expandable frame is collapsed and the cover is positioned proximate to the base. When deployed, the expandable frame is expanded and the cover is positioned distal to the base. Each side of the expandable frame is insulated, collapsible; includes a first panel hinge coupled to a second panel; and folds inward when the expandable frame is in the collapsed state. The covering and the base are each complementary in shape compared to the expandable frame. The covering is a rigid structure that partially encloses the expandable frame. The base is a hollow and rigid frame.
