Abstract: A pressure build-up valve is disclosed which has heightened sensitivity and reduced overall valve size and is adapted to minimize pressure fall-off and to be mounted to a pressurized vessel storing a gas or a liquid. The value is particularly, although not exclusively, designed to build and maintain pressure in cryogenic transportation trailer and storage tanks and is primarily for use with a closed loop liquefied natural gas fluid control system.

Abstract: A valve system, for controlling the dispensing, in use, of a fluid. The valve system comprises first and second valve members which define a cavity therebetween. The first valve member has a closed position and an open position and provides a seal between an inlet of the valve system and the cavity while in the closed position and allows passage of fluid from the inlet to the cavity while in the open position. The second valve member has a closed position and an open position and provides a seal between the cavity and an outlet of the valve system while in the closed position and allows passage of the fluid from the cavity to the outlet while in the open position. Hence the valve members control the passage of fluid through the valve system. The valve system further comprises means for controlling venting of the cavity dependant upon the relative values of the valve system inlet and outlet pressures.

Abstract: A pressure relief safety valve that comprises a sealing seat, a two-part valve member, and biassing means for biassing the valve member into engagement with the seat. The two-part valve member comprises a first member slidably retained in a second member and the biassing means comprises a first biassing member for biassing the first valve part into engagement with the seat and a second biassing member for biassing the second valve part toward the valve seat wherein the first and second biassing means are configured such that the first biassing means generates a force that is higher than the second biassing means.
