PACKAGING ARRANGEMENT LEAVING A PORTION OF A PRODUCT EXPOSED FOR EXAMINATION BY POTENTIAL PURCHASERS
Publication number: 20180251281Abstract: A packaging arrangement configured to entrap a product while leaving a portion of the product exposed for examination by potential purchasers comprises a card defining an aperture and a retainer fixed to the card with a ring of the retainer extending through the aperture. The ring of the retainer defines a ring opening and a bore extending in a downward direction along a bore axis from the ring opening. A ring opening edge defines a ring opening plane extending in forward, backward, portward, and starboardly directions. The ring may encircle the product so as to limit or prevent translational movement of the product in directions parallel to the ring opening plane. The upper edge of the card may be located proximate an upper surface of the product so as to limit or prevent translational movement of the product in the upward direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2018Publication date: September 6, 2018Inventors: Kevin Fuller, Wayde J. Publication number: 20100252247Abstract: Heat transfer devices and methods of making such devices are disclosed. One such device is a fin having a primary texture and a secondary texture, wherein each texture has an average amplitude. The amplitude is an elevation change from a peak of the texture to an adjacent valley. The average amplitude of the secondary texture is between 1% and 90% of the average amplitude of the primary texture. Such a fin may have holes, some of which may be used to accommodate tubes passing through the fin.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 5, 2010Publication date: October 7, 2010Inventors: Richard S. Publication number: 20060060689Abstract: A collapsible reel for receiving windings of wire or the like includes a pair of opposed flange members and a plurality of folding support members defining the reel core and hingedly attached therebetween. Each of the flange members may include a plurality of pockets for receiving the plurality of folding support members when the reel is collapsed such that the thickness of the collapsed reel is the substantially the thickness of the two flanges. An outward arcuate contour is provided for winding the wire or like. The hinge structures each have a hinge axis and a radially displaced force transfer contact portion whereby compressive loading of the reel is not conveyed through the hinge axis. Interlocking surface structure is on the outside facing surface such as multiplicity of the reel flanges to facilitate stacking. The flanges, the folding core arms, and the hinge structure may all be formed of the same polymeric composition to facilitate grinding of the entire assembled reel for easy recycling.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 23, 2005Publication date: March 23, 2006Inventor: Kevin Fuller

Publication number: 20030195754Abstract: A method and system in a computer for tracking requests for deviations, such as deviations to products, is provided. The computer system receives information associated with a request for deviation. After a review of a request, the computer system receives an indication of a decision for the request resulting from the review. When requested by a user, the computer system generates a report indicating open items identified during the review. Once the open items have been completed, the computer system receives an indication that an open item has been completed. When a final decision for the request is reached, the computer system receives an indication of the decision.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 10, 2002Publication date: October 16, 2003Inventors: John E.
