    Abstract: A stand displays and stores a handgun on a horizontal surface. The stand is formed from a single piece of plastic coated wire that is bent into five segments. Two of the segments hold the handgun while the other three segments form a stable base. The angle the first segment makes to the second segment is adjustable and determines the angle at which the handgun leans when displayed.

    Abstract: A method enabling a long gun to be stored upright in a cabinet having a floor and an overhanging surface. The apparatus has: (a) a rod having a thickness less than the inside diameter of the gun barrel and having a length greater than the difference between the height of the surface and the length of the gun, the rod being inserted into the gun barrel; (b) a cap attached to one end of the rod, the cap having a diameter greater than the inside diameter of the gun barrel, the cap limiting the insertion of the rod into the gun barrel; and (c) removably attaching the cap to the underside of the overhanging surface via a magnet or hook-and-loop material.

    Abstract: A basketball return device directs the basketball back to the shooter after he successfully shoots the ball through the rim and net of the basketball goal. The device contains a platform positioned directly under and just below the bottom of the net. The platform has a disk-shaped base which is declined from back to front and an outwardly tapering shoulder extending around the back an arc of about 120.degree. to 300.degree. so that a basketball dropping through the net lands on the platform and rolls off the front in the direction of the shooter.
