  • Patent number: 11955696
Abstract: A device includes a display and a housing. The housing surrounds the display and has four corners defining portions of an exterior surface of the device. The housing includes a first housing segment defining at least part of a first corner of the four corners and configured to operate as an antenna; a second housing segment defining at least part of a second corner of the four corners; and a third housing segment defining at least part of a third corner of the four corners. The third corner forms part of the housing diagonally opposite the second corner. The housing further includes a non-conductive housing component that structurally couples the first housing segment to another portion of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20100205254
Abstract: The system and method according to the invention allows users of a social network to determine the geographical dissemination of content within the network and the speed with which the content is disseminated and the extent of the dissemination, both in geographic terms and number of users experiencing the content. The dissemination is tracked by determining the number and location of other users to whom a user sends the content, and that experience the content. The geographic location of the recipient is determined using the IP address of the recipient or the geographic location provided. The impact of a particular user on the dissemination of the content can result in the awarding of points for the user. The invention also allows the impact of a particular user in disseminating a particular piece of content to be measured and ranked.

  • Patent number: 6334868
Abstract: A stent cover of elastic material having a very precisely defined pattern of elongated perforations formed therein so as to control the expansion of the stent to a preselected shape. Once in place and expanded, the cover additionally prevents the prolapse of lumen wall tissue as well as the escape of embolic materials. The pattern of perforations opens into a pattern of openings that promote the proliferation of endothelial tissue and hence the healing of the lumen at the deployment site.

  • Patent number: 5456667
Abstract: An intravascular catheter with an expandable region formed of a tubular material that continues the distal end of the catheter body in a one-piece configuration and is radially expanded and contracted by means of a control wire. The interior of the expandable region is in fluid communication with a lumen in the catheter body to allow the delivery of a fluid to the artery via openings in the surface of the expandable region. The catheter is particularly adapted to hold open an artery after a vascular procedure therein such as a balloon or other type of angioplasty, and if desired to introduce a therapeutic drug or other fluid to the site of the vascular procedure.
