  • Patent number: 11904830
Abstract: A cleaning system for an agricultural sprayer may include a sprayer boom, a plurality of nozzle assemblies provided in association with the sprayer boom and configured to dispense an agricultural product during a spraying operation of the agricultural sprayer, a first cleaning fluid tank configured to hold a first cleaning fluid, and a nozzle assembly fluid circuit fluidly coupling the plurality of nozzle assemblies and the first cleaning fluid tank. Moreover, the cleaning system may include a cleaning station supported on the sprayer boom, the cleaning station comprising a first valve. Additionally, the cleaning system may include a first cleaning fluid circuit fluidly coupling the first valve and the first cleaning fluid tank. The first valve is configured to supply the first cleaning fluid therethrough when the first valve is in an open position.

  • Publication number: 20230069517
Abstract: A feeder housing for an agricultural harvester includes: a housing; a conveyor system disposed in the housing, the conveyor system including a drive shaft, at least one drive loop coupled to the drive shaft such that rotation of the drive shaft causes rotation of the at least one drive loop, and a plurality of crop grabbers coupled to the at least one drive loop; a rock beater disposed in the housing and including a rotatable beater roll and at least one fin carried by the beater roll; and a motor coupled to the beater roll and configured to rotate the beater roll. The motor is an electrically powered motor or a hydraulically powered motor. The motor is coupled to the beater roll such that the motor is configured to rotate the beater roll without rotating the drive shaft.

  • Publication number: 20220279717
Abstract: An agricultural vehicle spreader system having a fixed frame, a pivot frame, a pivot joint connecting the pivot frame to the fixed frame for movement about a pivot axis between an operation position and a service position, a spreader assembly, and a power transmission. The pivot joint includes a pivot shaft extending along the pivot axis. The pivot shaft has a drive input and a drive output that is spaced along the pivot axis from the drive input. The spreader assembly has one or more spreaders mounted to the pivot frame and configured to rotate about a respective spreader axis that is offset radially from the pivot axis, and a respective spreader drive input drivingly connected to each of the one or more spreaders. The power transmission operatively connects the pivot shaft drive output to each respective spreader drive input.

  • Patent number: 10918019
Abstract: In one aspect, a system for adjusting the conveyor belt tension force within an agricultural harvester may include a conveyor having a first roller, a second roller spaced apart from the first roller, and a conveyor belt configured to engage the first and second rollers. The system may also include a tensioner assembly having a ratcheting mechanism configured to selectively adjust a position of the first roller relative to the second roller to adjust a tension force exerted on the conveyor belt.

  • Patent number: 10405492
Abstract: A self-cleaning sump for an agricultural harvester may include a collection chamber defining a top end and a bottom end. The self-cleaning sump may also include a sump door positioned at the bottom end of the collection chamber, with the sump door being movable between an opened position and a closed position. Additionally, the self-cleaning sump may include a cleaning device movable within the collection chamber between a raised position and a lowered position and an actuator coupled to the cleaning device. The actuator may be configured to actuate the cleaning device between the raised and lowered positions independent of the sump door. When the actuator is activated, the cleaning device may be configured to contact collected material contained within the collection chamber as the cleaning device is moved within the collection chamber between the top and bottom ends of the chamber.
