    Abstract: A recharging and medication storage hub for a re-usable drug-delivery device is provided. According to some embodiments, the hub comprises a housing defining a port sized to receive at least part of the re-usable drug-delivery device, a charging station disposed on the housing configured to charge a rechargeable power source mounted on the drug-delivery device, and a medication storage chamber disposed in alignment with the port, the storage chamber configured to store a single-use medication cartridge. When at least part of the drug-delivery device is inserted through the port and into the medication storage chamber, a coupling mechanism is configured to releasably couple with and withdraw the medication cartridge from the medication storage chamber. In some embodiments, the hub may further comprise a temperature-changing device configured to control an interior temperature of the medication storage chamber.

    Abstract: An injection molded finish portion of a container preform has an annular wall with an end sealing surface. A set of ratchet teeth are located at a lower end of the annular wall on a flange having upper and lower surfaces including radially inward edges coterminous with the annular wall. A threaded portion is located below the sealing surface and above the ratchet teeth that includes sets of inclined threads extending part way around the annular wall, the threads having crest portions that terminate at planes tangent to the annular wall along parting lines on opposite sides of the finish. Lugs project outward from the annular wall in the vicinity of the parting lines to ensure correct interaction between the ratchet teeth and a cooperating flexible closure.

    Abstract: A new prenatal music belt for sharing the soothing effects of music and the like with an unborn child. The inventive device includes an elongated, elastic belt with a buckle at one end of the belt for readily permitting adjustments to the size of the belt. A pair of pockets are attached by loops to the belt so that the position of the pockets can be adjusted to any position along the belt. The pockets are sized and shaped for retaining earphones from a sound playback device therein, with the earphone being directed towards the mother's abdomen so that sound from the earphones is directed towards the fetus. The sound playback device is attached by a clip to the belt at any position therealong which is comfortable to the wearer. The pockets are closed by VELCRO/hook and loop type fasteners in order retain the earphones therein.
