    Abstract: A flying saucer includes a soft and hollow main body, a soft shape-maintaining ring positioned around and joined to an outward edge of the main body for maintaining the shape of the main body, and many pellet-shaped loads held inside the main body; the flying saucer is flying, the pellet-shaped loads will gather near the outward edge of the main body owing to centrifugal force, and the gravity center of the flying saucer will shift constantly; consequently, the flying path of the flying saucer is changeable, and the landing position more difficult to predict; in addition, the flying saucer won't cause pain or injury to the catcher's hand because the main body and the shape-maintaining ring are made of soft materials.

    Abstract: A soft thin laminated substrate including a plastic substrate, an alloy copper layer overlaid on the plastic substrate and a copper foil overlaid on the alloy copper layer. The alloy copper layer is an alloy of copper metal and at least one of nickel, chromium, manganese, molybdenum, iron and phosphorus. The alloy copper layer serves as a tie-coating of the copper foil, whereby the copper foil can tightly attach to the alloy copper layer to associate with the plastic substrate and form the soft thin laminated substrate.

    Abstract: The invention relates to Fabry-Perot interferometers (FFPI) comprising two or more optically coupled tunable all-fiber Fabry-Perot component filters, wherein the Fabry-Perot cavity of the filter is formed within a bare section of optical fiber held within a fiber ferrule. The wavelength transmitted by the interferometer can be tuned thermally or electromechanically for a fiber containing the Fabry-Perot cavity bonded into a groove of a metal substrate. The interferometer can be tuned by changing the length of Fabry-Perot cavity, including by the use of a piezoelectric transducer.
