  • Publication number: 20240118061
Abstract: Shaped charge devices, systems, and related methods of use. A housing sheet is configurable to form at least part of a shaped charge enclosure enclosing a shaped charge and biasing an explosion in a desired direction. The housing sheet can include one or more incisions in at least one surface thereof. The housing sheet can have at least one connection mechanism integrally formed therein, and the housing sheet can be configurable to form a plurality of sizes of shaped charge housing portions. The housing sheet can also provide for forming a plurality of dimensions of the shaped charge enclosure.

  • Patent number: 10913526
Abstract: A boat chiller system (1) wherein a self-contained externally cooled fresh water supply is used in place of water in which the boat is docked, such as seawater, to transfer heat from an interior space of a boat (4) to outside of the boat. The use of recirculated fresh water eliminates barnacle growth in an onboard water cooled a/c system (2) and/or excess barnacles and other sea life from growing near an external water discharge (12) on the boat as would occur with the discharge of heated sea water in a conventional boat a/c system.

  • Patent number: 7006557
Abstract: Techniques for time tracking diversity pilots are disclosed. In one aspect, an early and a late energy calculation is made on each incoming symbol using a first pilot sequence for despreading. The difference between the two energies is used to drive a tracking loop, which generates a time reference for producing a first pilot estimate and a second pilot estimate, the two estimates used for demodulating data. In another aspect, the early and late energies are made including a plurality of incoming symbols, the number of which corresponds to the number of symbols in a run of positive or negative values in an orthogonalizing sequence. The orthogonalizing sequence is used to generate a second pilot sequence from a first pilot sequence, the resulting second pilot sequence being orthogonal to the first. These aspects have the benefit of simplifying the hardware or processing steps required for transmit diversity time tracking, resulting in cost savings, power savings, simplicity of design, and the like.

  • Patent number: 4794701
Abstract: A level device for a chainsaw is formed from a hollow closed transparent plastic tube filled with a colored liquid. An air bubble is trapped in the liquid within the tube. Alignment indicia in the form of perpendicular intersecting lines are inscribed on the cylindrical side wall of the tube and on both end faces. An aluminum mounting bracket consists of a pair of spaced circular rings connected by a strut. A standard extends perpendicular to the strut, and is attached thereto at a point equidistant from each of the rings. A slotted mounting prong is formed at the free end of the standard for engagement with a threaded fastener on a chainsaw. In use, the device functions as a spirit level for making horizontal and vertical cuts with the blade of the chainsaw.
