  • Publication number: 20240300039
Abstract: A power tool including a handle configured to be grasped by a user, the handle including a base material and an additive configured to distribute static electricity away from the handle. The handle has a first volume resistivity and a first surface resistivity. The base material has a second volume resistivity and a second surface resistivity. The additive causes the first volume resistivity and the first surface resistivity of the handle to be less than the second volume resistivity and the second surface resistivity of the base material, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20150176211
Abstract: Certain embodiments described herein are directed articles that include a cellulosic substrate (or a non-cellulosic substrate) and an aqueous dispersion disposed on the substrate. In certain examples, the dispersion is effective to provide a water vapor perm rating of about 2 perms or less at 25% average RH as tested by ASTM D1653, or about 2 perm or less at 25% average RH as tested by ASTM E96, when the dispersion is cured as a coating on the substrate. In some embodiments, the substrate can be (or can be part of) a building substrate such as, for example, kraft paper placed on insulation (e.g., fiberglass insulation) or oriented strand board. In some instances, the aqueous dispersion can include a plant oil macromonomer or a waterborne epoxy resin.

  • Patent number: 6964744
Abstract: The present invention serves to substantially improve the dust capture property of dedusting oils, by modifying these oils with nonionic and/or cationic surfactants. The application of surfactant modified oils reduces dust that is generated when loose-fill insulation is installed.

  • Patent number: 6957278
Abstract: The present invention concerns an apparatus comprising a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit may be configured to generate a reference output voltage in response to a plurality of reference voltages. The second circuit may be configured to generate an output voltage in response to the reference output voltage and an unknown voltage. The output voltage may comprise accurately controlled hysteresis.

  • Patent number: 6593725
Abstract: An apparatus comprising a first circuit and a second circuit. The first circuit may be configured to regulate an output voltage generated in response to an input signal and a feedback of the output voltage. The second circuit may be configured to further regulate the output voltage in response to the input signal.

  • Patent number: 6026643
Abstract: To provide a hydraulic master cylinder with inlet ports and outlet ports arranged in an angle to each other wherein the outlet ports can be on either side of the housing without the need of two different casts, the master cylinder according to the invention is equipped with either two sets of protrusions adapted to be machined into inlet ports or two sets of protrusions adapted to be machined into outlet ports. The two sets of identical protrusions are arranged symmetrically with respect to the one set of different protrusions. Thus, depending on the desired side of the outlet ports, only one set of the two sets of identical protrusions is machined while the other set remains an unmachined accumulation of material.

  • Patent number: 5827962
Abstract: A fluid level indicator for a brake fluid reservoir is disclosed which comprises a socket and circuit board which, once assembled, are installed within a chamber integrally molded with the fluid reservoir. The circuit board is assembled to the socket, which is in turn attached to an instrument panel warning device. In an alternative embodiment, the circuit board is formed integrally with connector pins, and injection molded about to form a socket assembly. The assembly is then attached to the instrument panel and installed within the chamber.

  • Patent number: 5819795
Abstract: A reservoir for a master cylinder including an upper reservoir section forming a portion of a float damping chamber and a lower reservoir section forming a portion of the float damping chamber. The upper reservoir section and the lower reservoir section are so dimensioned so that when they are fastened together, they define the float damping chamber at least one metering orifice formed along their mating surfaces. This metering orifice allows fluid to flow between the float damping chamber and the reservoir of the master cylinder in a controlled manner. Thus, a float device provided within the float damping chamber will not be susceptible to initiating false signals.
