  • Patent number: 11968415
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed that determine a penetration and a churn of a streaming service. Example apparatus disclosed herein includes processor circuitry to instantiate at least interval determination circuitry to determine an interval between the first tuning event and the second tuning event, the first and second tuning events corresponding to streaming of media in a first household using the streaming service via a media device, characterization circuitry to characterize a status of the first household as subscribed when the interval satisfies a threshold, aggregation circuitry to aggregate statuses of households over a time period, the households including the first household, and penetration determination circuitry to generate first analytical data based on a number of subscribed statuses per a total number of households at a timestamp, the timestamp within the time period.

  • Publication number: 20180039514
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to facilitate efficient scheduling of digital tasks in a system are disclosed. Periodic and aperiodic tasks may be identified, an initial minimum required duration may be determined based on the periodic and aperiodic tasks, a finish-to-activate duration of the aperiodic task may be determined, a final minimum required duration may be determined based on the initial minimum required duration and the finish-to-activate duration, a time budget may be adjusted to be the final minimum required duration, and the aperiodic task may be activated within the time budget based on the finish-to-activate duration.

  • Patent number: 9037421
Abstract: A leak detection system and method are characterized by scanning a surface of a vacuum package, generating a contour signal corresponding with the contour of the scanned surface, and comparing the contour signal with a stored contour signal of a similar package which is known to be free of leaks. The system includes a sensor such as a scanning device which scans a surface of the package and generates the contour signal. A signal processor connected with the scanning device processes the signal to generate a profile of the package surface. This profile is compared with a stored profile corresponding to a normal configuration for the package surface. When the scanned profile deviates from the stored profile, a leak within the scanned package is indicated.

  • Patent number: 8341165
Abstract: Extensible Markup Language (XML) data is represented as a list of structures with each structure in the list representing an aspect of the XML. A set of frequently used elements is extracted from the list of structure representation and stored in packed vectors. The packed vector representation allows Single Instruction Multiple Data (SIMD) instructions to be used directly on the XML data to increase the speed at which the XML data may be searched while minimizing the memory needed to store the XML data.

  • Publication number: 20040010754
Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for creating and abstract machine instruction sequence from one or more stylesheets and using this sequence to perform a transformation on one or more input documents. The method includes the steps of parsing the stylesheet and compiling it into the sequence of abstract machine instructions. The instructions are executed on the abstract machine with input document(s) to produce one or more output documents.
