  • Publication number: 20140109668
Abstract: An apparatus and method for detecting when the amount of fluid being filled into a tank reaches a certain predetermined level are provided. The portable no-spill fluid level gauge has a substantially clear cylindrical body with a level indicator near one end. Buoyant members and substantially rigid rod having guides at each end thereof are positioned within the body such that the rod is above the buoyant members. A clamp is attached to the exterior of the body for removably affixing the gauge to the tank's opening such that a portion of the gauge is positioned within the tank. During the filling of the tank with fluid, the fluid flows into the body through openings in the body of the gauge thereby causing the buoyant members to exert an upward force upon the rod through one of the guides and thus move the upper guide towards the level indicator.

  • Publication number: 20090023380
Abstract: An air circulation module (700) includes a housing and at least one fan (712) that is enclosed within the housing. The at least one fan (712) receives an airflow moving through the housing. An airflow re-circulation valve (701) that is disposed within the housing so as to not substantially interfere with the airflow moving through the housing. The airflow re-circulation valve (701) is selectively opened so as to divert a first portion of the airflow into and through the airflow re-circulation valve (701) and out of the housing via an exhaust port (713).

  • Publication number: 20090020618
Abstract: Unheated external air is drawn into an electronic component housing (200). The external air is selectively heated to form heated air (209) and the extent of the heating is based at least in part upon the temperature within the electronic component housing (200). The heated air (209) or the unheated external air (206) is drawn across at least one electronic component (210) positioned within the electronic component housing (200). A first flow (222) of either the heated air or the unheated external air is selectively exhausted from the electronic component housing (200). A first amount of the first flow (222) is based at least in part upon the temperature within the electronic component housing. A second flow (216) of either the heated air or the unheated external air is selectively re-circulated within the housing. A second amount of the second flow (216) is based at least in part upon the temperature within the housing (200).
