  • Patent number: 11967246
Abstract: A configuration for a breathing sequence may be defined using a user interface of a user device. The user interface may also be used to begin the breathing sequence. During the breathing sequence, a fluctuating user interface element may fluctuate at a cyclic rate. Such fluctuation may include repeated growing and repeated shrinking of the fluctuating user interface element. During the breathing sequence, heart rate data may be collected and used to present heart rate information at a conclusion of the breathing sequence.

  • Publication number: 20240102811
Abstract: A first input to a mobile device indicates a first navigation destination at a first level of specificity. The mobile device initiates navigation towards a first location corresponding to the first navigation destination. While navigation towards the first location corresponding to the first navigation destination is ongoing and before reaching the first location, in accordance with a determination that one or more first criteria are satisfied, the mobile device prompts for an input for determination a second location corresponding to a second navigation destination with a second level of specificity, the second level of specificity more specific than the first level of specificity. The mobile device receives a second input in response to the prompt. In accordance with a determination that the second input satisfies one or more second criteria, the mobile device initiates navigation towards the second location corresponding to the second navigation destination.

  • Patent number: 7008776
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions for use in raising or lowering the level of LIPG polypeptide in a patient. Embodiments of the composition include compositions comprising: an anti-sense nucleic acid; a neutralizing antibody; an intracellular binding protein; an inhibitor which inhibits the enzymatic activity of LIPG polypeptide; an inhibitor which inhibits the expression of LIPG gene; a ribozyme; an LIPG polypeptide; an enhancer which increases the enzymatic activity of LIPG polypeptide; or an enhancer which increases the expression of LIPG gene. The invention relates also to methods for using the above compositions. In addition, the invention relates to a method for diagnosing a predisposition to lower cholesterol, a method for determining whether a test compound can inhibit the enzymatic reaction between LIPG polypeptide and HDL cholesterol, and methods for determining whether a test compound can enhance the enzymatic reaction between LIPG polypeptide and LDL or VLDL cholesterol.

  • Patent number: 6801971
Abstract: An apparatus for controlling access to a PCI bus includes a plurality of USB host controllers, each capable of being connected to a respective USB port. A plurality of PCI cores are each coupled to respective ones of the USB host controllers. A PCI arbiter is coupled to each of the PCI cores. The PCI arbiter is capable of arbitrating multiple requests for the PCI bus, each request initiated by a communication from a respective one of the plurality of USB ports. Full-rate USB data transfer capability is provided between the PCI bus and each of the USB ports. The PCI arbiter receives a plurality of requests for the PCI bus from the PCI cores. A FIFO queue within the PCI arbiter stores a respective record corresponding to each of the PCI cores. A next one of the records is read from the FIFO queue. PCI bus access is granted to the PCI core identified in the next record. The apparatus may include a first plurality of USB ports, each coupled to a respective one of the USB host controllers.
