Abstract: An apparatus for hydroponic cultivation including a pneumatic pump, a pumping tank, an overflow tank, a pneumatic valve, solution distribution tubing, and a plant growing container. The configuration presented achieves the results required from such a system in that is inexpensive to develop and works effectively with low maintenance. The system has the added feature of applying air directly to the roots of the plants at selected intervals. A method is also disclosed.
