Patent number: 9273515Abstract: A roofing ladder with a modular angularly adjustable platform facilitates roofing work by providing a platform assembly which can be adjusted angularly to provide a desired slope for sitting or standing on or for storing tools or supplies. A beam provides structural support. A roof anchor hook connected to the beam contacts the opposing roofing surface to hold the ladder in place. A wheel assembly allows a user to easily mount the ladder on a roof. A plurality of step rods laterally connected to the beam provides steps for climbing the ladder as well as attachment locations for the platform assembly. A plurality of beam lifters provides a means to lift the beam off the roof surface for performing work on the roof surface underneath the beam. An extension slot allows the ladder to be extended for longer roofs or more easily manipulated into place using an extension pole.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 2014Date of Patent: March 1, 2016Inventor: Kevin John O'Grady, Sr.

Patent number: 7466441Abstract: Apparatus and methods for distributing print jobs. A print job is generated at an application node of a network, and has associated therewith print parameters. The print job is routed to a distribution node on the network. The parameters are then parsed from the generated print job and the print job parameterized with predetermined metrics that are a function of at least one of the parsed parameters. The parameterized print job is then routed to a destination device on a destination node on the network.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 2007Date of Patent: December 16, 2008Assignee: Electronics for Imaging, Inc.Inventors: Michael Barry, Jeffrey Pitts Dockman, Kevin John O'Neill, Jr., Robert Gregory Pennington, Michael David Raines, Matthew David Shumaker, Elliot Neal Tompkins

Publication number: 20020147422Abstract: A custom-moldable patellar support product for improved patella tracking in the femoral groove and relief of associated patella femoral pain syndrome, and including an outer container formed of moisture-impervious material and an initially-moldable, patellar support positioned in the container in substantially moisture-free conditions and sealed therein against entry of moisture until use. The support includes a substrate and a reactive system impregnated into or coated onto the substrate. The system remains stable when maintained in substantially moisture-free conditions and hardens upon exposure to moisture to form a rigid, self supporting structure. A flexible protective pad is positioned on one side of the substrate along its length to provide a cushioning barrier between the substrate and the skin of a patient when the patella support is in use. An outer cover covers the substrate on the side opposite the protective pad.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 8, 2001Publication date: October 10, 2002Inventors: Thomas D. Darcey, Kevin John O'Neill

Patent number: 5966317Abstract: With shrinking dimensions, and closely spaced runners, capacitive coupling between bitlines in dual port SRAMS becomes an important design issue. Techniques for reducing that coupling are described. A shielding runner placed between the read and write bitlines and tied to V.sub.DD or V.sub.SS substantially reduces unwanted crosstalk. Word lines can be similarly isolated.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 1999Date of Patent: October 12, 1999Assignee: Lucent Technologies Inc.Inventor: Kevin John O'Connor

Patent number: 5659504Abstract: The invention is directed to a memory cell with a floating gate and a method for charging the floating gate using channel-initiated secondary electron injection (CISEI). In the device of the present invention, a positive bias voltage of about 1.1 volts to about 3.3 volts is applied between the drain and the source when introducing charge onto the floating gate. A negative bias voltage of about -0.5 volts or more negative is applied to the substrate and the source. The drain substrate bias induces a sufficient amount of secondary hot electrons to be formed with a sufficient amount of energy to overcome the energy barrier between the substrate and the floating gate to charge the floating gate.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 1995Date of Patent: August 19, 1997Assignee: Lucent Technologies Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Devin Bude, Kevin John O'Connor, Mark Richard Pinto
