The ketal esters are produced in certain transesterifications between alkyl ketal esters and/or hydroxyalkyl ketal esters and polyols, aminoalcohols, polyamines and/or polycarboxylic acids. The products are excellent plasticizers for a variety of organic polymers, notable poly(vinylchloride) plastisols.
