  • Patent number: 12251093
Abstract: A method and apparatus for coupling a soft tissue implant into a locking cavity formed within a bone is disclosed. The apparatus includes a member to pull the soft tissue implant into a femoral tunnel. The member includes a suture having first and second ends which are passed through first and second openings associated with the longitudinal passage to form a pair of loops. Portions of the suture lay parallel to each other within the suture. Application of tension onto the suture construction causes retraction of the soft tissue implant into the femoral tunnel.

  • Publication number: 20250049430
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reattaching soft tissue to a boney structure using an expanding suture anchor. The method can include providing a suture anchor and forming a cavity in the boney structure for receipt of the suture anchor. The method can also include coupling the soft tissue to a suture and coupling the suture to the suture anchor. The method can further include deploying the suture anchor to fix the suture to the suture anchor and the suture anchor to the cavity.

  • Patent number: 12134725
Abstract: A light valve that is operable in and electrically switchable between an optically clear and transparent state and an opaque state, wherein one or more polymerisable mesogenic compounds provided in a layer containing a liquid-crystalline medium that comprises one or more mesogenic compounds, one or more chiral compounds, one or more dichroic dyes and the one or more polymerisable mesogenic compounds are subjected to photopolymerisation. Further, a liquid-crystalline medium used in the method, a light valve obtained or respectively obtainable by carrying out the method, and the use of the light valve in mobile devices.

  • Publication number: 20240199896
Abstract: A radar-compatible plastic part that has a surface provided with a colouring coating that is free from metal-effect pigments; a process for the production of a radar-compatible plastic part of this type; and the use thereof in vehicle construction. The radar-compatible, coated plastic part is suitable for use for cover parts of radar devices, omits conventional metal-effect pigments in its colouring coating, and has a silver-coloured metallic appearance, high hiding power, and a strong lightness flop, and at the same time, a good radar wave transparency.

  • Publication number: 20240111040
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes: receiving radar digital data; processing the radar digital data with a plurality of sine filters to generate a respective plurality of range-slow-time data, where each sine filter is associated with a respective range zone of a plurality of range zones; generating a first presence score based on a first range-slow-time data of the plurality of range-slow-time data, where the first range-slow-time data is associated with the first range zone; and when the first presence score is higher than a predetermined threshold, generating a plurality of synthetic antennas based on the first range-slow-time data, performing angle estimation based on the plurality of synthetic antennas to generate first probability values for a plurality of angle zones associated with the first range zone, and updating an occupancy grid map based on the first probability values.

  • Publication number: 20170221155
Abstract: A content server receives artist messages from client devices of artists, each artist message including content created using the client device of the respective artist. The content server receives from a client device of a listener a request for media items, the request including a seed value. The content server provides media items selected based on the seed value to the client device of the listener. The content server identifies a subset of the artist messages as eligible artist messages for the listener based on the media items provided to the client device of the listener. The content server scores the eligible artist messages based on a relevance of the message to a listener, and selects an eligible artist messages based on the scores. The content server provides the selected artist message to the listener.
